Location, cleanliness and value for money Heating was on full and was very hot in room. Had to sleep with doors of juliet balcony open which then got too cold as it was dec. |

great situation, easy walking distance to everything, very helpfull staff when wanting to know something. rooms adequate for what we wanted. no, maybe the fact of an evening there are people sleeping rough very near to the hotel enterence. but nothing else. |

The location of the hotel is ideal. The Metro is two blocks away. It is close to the beach, La Ribera, Barri Gotic and many of Barcelona's attractions. The rooms were very modern and attractive. We were at the hotel in late October in fairly warm weather, however, the hotel turns off the air-conditioning in October and the room was hot at night. Just in front of the building next door street people were sleeping rough which made us feel somewhat uncomfortable. |

Nice reception. Network of hotels, at settling have sent in other nearby hotel of network: Hotel Colonial 4* (Via Laietana, 3). Excellent location. Comfortable modern spacious number in historical building. Before moving into number, it has been cleaned badly. Later all is ok. |

The hotel had a good central location, and was a decent value for the money. The room was clean and well furnished, although small. This hotel would be a fine place to stay if the weather was cool, but it was quite warm when we were there, and the air conditioning had been shut off for the year. The noise level was terrible with the window open, and the room was stifling with it closed. |

Very convenient to old port in Barcelona .Therefore plent of restaurants nearby . Very basic in every way .No internet available. |

The room was spacious and clean. The location of the hotel was quite good (although not excellent) for city trip purposes. The terrible smell in the bathroom was so unpleasant that I would not want to stay at this hotel again despite the nice things I liked about this hotel. |

Terrific location--borders Bari Gotic and a 5 minute walk to the beach....2 Minutes from marina Air conditioning worked well, rooms were clean and crisp. Good value for the money...neighborhood very safe. Room reasonably well appointed Front desk staff was ok but less friendly than other hotels I have stayed at in Barcelona...they were not horrible, just a little noticeably less friendly. |

The proximity to the port and nearby park. Also not far from the Ramblas. The breakfast at 14 Euros was much too pricey. |

Loved our room, we were at the top floor w/ a private balcony, a great view of barcelona. Room is clean, clean, clean!!! Great price. Hotel breakfast was a bit expensive, it's better to eat out. |

The location of this hotel is fantastic! It is situated on a pleasant little square that´s very close to the harbor and the beaches, and only steps from the old city. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and I´d book it again when I return to Barcelona. Minor details... The hotel staff is a bit cold at reception. TV was horrible, but who goes to Barcelona to watch TV? No coffee/tea facilities in the room. |

Don't be put off ( if possible) by the smell outside the hotel as the rooms were very clean and no smell in hotel .... well actually there is a string clean smell in the halls. Hotel is very close to La Rambla and the Beach. The Air Conditioning in my room did not work. When I found out other rooms were working I advised reception, at which point they did offer to change my room. Also the 1st receptionist we met was not friendly and gave impression he did not want to help. However only a small thing and did not effect us. |

Perfectly situated, at a walkable distance to major attractions of the city. Spatious rooms compared to big city hotels. Very clean (they were makin up the room even in the afternoon, when the morning was not available because of us) A little weird to phone from 11:00 asking "when do you leave" allthough the check out time is 12:00. Anyway, a small issue.. not that important |

The hotel location is great - central enough to walk everywhere, but nice and quiet. The room was very clean, and good for recharging batteries at night. It would have been nice to have a view out the window of something other than a wall. That didn't matter that much to us in the end as we only used the room to sleep between lovely explorations of the city. The shower was also poorly conceived as it floods half the bathroom when it's on. |
