Good location, especially for those who want to be near the Gran Via. The breakfast is reasonable, should be improved. The room had a bad little odor, possibly because it was not used for some time. |

The decor was beautiful. The breakfast room particularly was very welcoming and clean, the staff very courteous and friendly. I loved the coloured glass. The bathroom in my room was spotless. Overall I was impressed with this hotel and would like to stay there again. No - a most enjoyable stay- regrettably for only one night. |

The hotel staff was very polite and helpful; they tried hard to make everything nice and comfortable for us. The bathroom was a too tight fo comfort, specially the shower. |

Very good refurbished room (not all of the rooms seem to have undergone the same level of refurbishment). Very good value for money. The sound-proofing is a little weak. Sound-insulation of rooms. |

The hotel has a very convenient location and friend staff. The rooms are well decorated, and the one which we had had a large balcony. The breakfast was OK. Good choice for travellers came to roam around in Madrid. |

We had stayed at this hotel 4 years earlier for a 4-night city break. It's had a face-lift since then and this time we had a fairly newly-referbed room on the top floor with an enormous balcony. Regrettably, we were just passing through Madrid, but we would have been pleased to stay there longer. It's very convenient for Sol metro station and the superb, and very cheap, Madrid metro system. |

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean. The location is excellent handy for 2 metro stations which are within a 2 minute walk through a pedestrian only shopping street. Mattress a little hard for my liking. |

The best thing is the location, centre of the city! Nearby two different metro station but very easy to visit the best place walking.Internet access is free, helpfull multilanguage staff. Bathroom is little but complete( per gli italiani: c'è anche il bidet) |

The hotel's location is superb, the major sites of central Madrid are easily accessible either by foot or by near-by metro. The hot water seemed to be on some sort of cyclical arrangement, going from chilly to scalding and back again every three minutes or so. |

Very central location in walking distance from main attactions. Very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The building is rather old so the rooms are not well insulated in terms of noise coming from inside the hotel. The wooden floors throughout the corridors don't help either, but they do give it character. |
