Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Provision of car parking was handy albeit expensive. I read, either on the hotel's website or booking.com's - I forget which - that the hotel is 200 metres from the Guggenheim. That is not the case. It's more like 1000 m. |

A good hotel close to everything. Big modern room, exelent breakfast. The men we first met in the reception. He was not serviceminded at all. We had the booking number but this was not enough. We were not at our mail address and were not able to print out the confirmation document. |

excellent location close to city centre parking very expensive - also limited number of spaces - however, once you have managed to get a space it is reserved for you for the duration of your stay |

That we were at the back of the hotel, away from the street noise, high up and that the windows opened. That when the dining room was closed on Sunday night the bar-man brought a menu for us and said that there were only limited things available. The location was great. On the bus line from the bus station, right between the Guggenheim and the old town. |

Staff attentive and helpful. Rooms were well appointed, very good bed and excellent bathroom. The booking was processed quickly and reliably through the hotel's website. On our second stay, on the 14 september, we asked for a non-smoker room and the room did smell of smoke. We did not ask for an exchange as we were only staying for a few hours. However I think the mistake would have been addressed properly by the staff. |

Very inviting entrance combined with smart and efficient staff. The booking did not ask for smoking or non smoking. Would have liked non smoking if it was an option. Dont like stale cigarette smell. Option of another pillow in room would be great. |

Convenient location for going to the Guggenheim and to the Casa Cieja. Has a bit of a corporate feel to it. The staff although willing to help could be a little friendlier. |

Comparing the lobby and the rooms of this hotel is like comparing the front of a canvas with its back.Century old carpet seems to host some guests that we did not necessarily expect to meet in a 3 stars hotel. Hard to believe that we paid 70 Euros for a 3rd class hotel with rude staff and worn out (to say the least) rooms. Great bathroom (to be fair)! But if you are a lobster, wait until your neighbours have used their daily water consumption - or the shower might be a hot pot experience for you. |
