tof hotel dat zeker meer dan 2 sterren verdient de vloerbekleding (laminaat) dempt niet echt de nachtelijke uitstapjes van de buren |

Centraal gelegen in het historisch oude stadscentrum, kleine gezellige autovrije straatjes. Ontbijt was magertjes (kostte ook maar 5 euro) |

De ligging van het hotel (in de oude stad); de kamer was sober en strak maar niet ongezellig ingericht (geen overbodige dingen zoals IKEA-kunst) en had een harde vloer (= hygiënisch); de buitendeur was altijd op slot en er was dan ook altijd iemand aanwezig om je open te doen - dat gaf een veilig gevoel. Onze kamer lag aan de straatkant en daar was het tot diep in de nacht druk (terrassen, bars - dus veel, (luid) pratende mensen) en 's morgens vroeg ook weer: vuilnisophaal, straatveeg-auto's, laden & lossen. De dubbele beglazing was effectief maar je wilt liever met de ramen open slapen. Zoiets neem je op de koop toe, bij deze ligging. Een volgende keer vraag ik om een rustige kamer. |

de kamer was in orde Het bleek geen drie, maar een twee sterrenhotel te zijn. Het was niet mogelijk er met de auto in de buurt te komen, we moesten dus een heel eind sjouwen met de koffers. Kamer aan de voorkant waardoor tot laat in de avond en alweer heel vroeg veel lawaai. |

Attenties zoals elke dag een krant, ruime kamer, haardroger, comfortabel, overal dichtbij. Zeer goede verbindingen met openbaar vervoer en luchthaven. |

Perfecte ligging voor bezoek oude, levendige stad, vooral 's morgens (ontbijt, markt) en 's avonds (restaurants en cafés) heel aangenaam. Op wandelafstand van nieuwere stadsdeel met winkels, parken, promenades langs de rivier. Ontbijt was niet lekker, voor zelfde prijs kan je in nabije buurt beter vinden. |

Hulpvaardig personeel. Midden in de oude stad. Goed bereikbaar vanuit (bus)station door tram. Restaurants in de buurt. Goede basis voor de bezienswaardigheden. |

the staff were very freindly & helpful. Position in the old area of the city was great & in walking distance of many of the attractions in the city. good public transport if needed. Many eating possibilities also in close proximity. |

Great location (once one has found it!); pleasantly modern design; charming front desk staff. The decision to use wooden floors as part of the recent refurbishment strikes me as an acoustic disaster. I would also suggest that anyone planning a visit makes sure they know exactly how to find it before setting out: I consider myself a seasoned urbanite but even I found Bilbao's street geography very confusing (Tip: what appears to be a single street can change its name at least three times in less than one hundred yards - six times if you count dual languages!) |

Friendly staff, excellent location, comfortable bed. Hated having a window opening onto a closed courtyard, so no fresh air or light. Website information about car parking was wrong. Nueva Plaza was private parking, had to go to Arenal - recommended by receptionist but only if you could understand Spanish. |

Staff were helpful, spoke english, room was good and spacious. Sensor lights in corridors were somewhat ineffective, leaving you in the dark for a short while at times. Breakfast was over priced for what you got. |

Great location. Close to old town and easily accessible to public transportation/tram system. Day staff was not very helpful/friendly however night staff was extremely helpful. |

This is a great hotel considering it only has 2 stars (and also it's low price!). I specially found that the bed was confortable and I also really liked the shower. The staff was also very kind, you could prefectly ask anything and if it was possible they would do their best to solve it. Maybe the doors were too thin, and the floor was a bit noisy. I tend to sleep very deep, so I didn't notice anything when I was sleeping. |

Good situation, very helpful staff and clean, pleasant rooms. A good choice in the old town which I would recommend if you are interested in visiting the town rather than looking for luxury. Some noise from adjacent rooms due to the nature of the laminate flooring. In my view a picture or two on the walls would be nice just to lighten the feeling of the room. |
