I really enjoyed the hotel: the staff were very very helpful, the room was spotless, it's a short walk from the Ribera tram stop and it was excellent value for money. I was not aware of building noise that other people have commented on. |

Helpfull staff. Large room and covered balcony with good views of Bilbao. Secure garage for car. Neighbourhood was a little offputting at first, but only a couple of minutes walk to Old Town which was interesting. |

We liked the parking garage location and proximity to places we were going to visit. Too noisy on the side we stayed. |

Not a lot was likable. The garage was useful but all the roads were dug up. The neighborhood left a lot to be desired and in no waycold you say it was good for the Guggenhiem. Description on your sight was very misleading. |

Convenience to the old city. Surrounding suburb was a little (I'm being kind here) 'iffy'. |

Quiet, friendly helpful staff[don't forget your passport!] when you go to your rooms, it seems a little cheap at first[ie instead of brass numbers on doors, they are drawn in with a marker] |

The room was clean and ensuite shower room a good size and newly decorated. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. I understood the hotel was being refurbished but evenso I found the communal areas, ie corridors, lifts and lobby, unwelcoming and gloomy.I realise this may not eventually be the case but was a little off-putting on my visit. The locality is also undergoing an amount of renewal, roads and pavements dug up etc. The local area was very noisey and not very friendly. |

My room was on the 7th floor with a great view of the city. A short walk down to the Old City, short hike back up the hill. The room itself was spotless. Staff always ready to help despite limited English. Thin walls, could hear voices in adjacent rooms. Not a lot of thought seems to have gone into decorating the place but it was perfectly comfortable, just somewhat sparse and unimaginative. Soft lighting and black walls in hallways made for a rather ghostly effect. |

Nice view of the Bilbao from the window. Funny design (I recommend to go downstairs instead of using elevator during evenening). Nice rooms for couples. We've travelled with a group (9 persons) and there is a parking for our car. It helps a lot in a new city. Nice personal. I recommend this hotel.. |

Staff responding very well. Bathroom was nucely renovated. 1. There were renovation/constuction in the lobby, which were not known prior to arriving. 2. Carpet in the room was very old and dirty. 3. Better to use a one person bed in this size of a room. |

The staff has always been extremely kind, the room was clean. It is close to the worse area of Bilbao; there were some works going on that caused problems in hot water supply (readily fixed, but still...), there is no a proper cupboard in the room. |

This innovatively designed, new hotel is very well located for exploring on foot all the main sights of the city, and is close to the river in the old part of central Bilbao. |
The Vista Alegre Hotel is named after the bullring situated beside it. Enjoy warm and inviting bedrooms as well as free wireless. Savour a drink in the bar at the end of the day. |
Sirimiri Hotel is small familiar hotel, although it's a newly built building, it maintains the enchantment of the Casco Viejo (old area) of Bilbao. |
The Hesperia Zubialde is an excellent value option for visitors to the city of Bilbao, conveniently located near the world-famous Guggenheim museum and boasting a number of useful facilities. |
