Best Western Hotel Subur Maritim

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby and tea/coffee making facilities were great. The pool and lounge area was fab and also the hotel was quiet apart from the noise incidents discussed below. It was also a nice seafront walk to the centre of town which allowed for some excercise. Room had a nice view of the sea and the pool.

The Hotel seems to have a re-occurring problem with odours from its drainage network according to the receptionist. There was an odour from the drainage network in the en-suite in our room off and on. Informed reception of it, I think they tried there best but it still prevailed. Other guests also complained. No rooms available to change as had a poolside and seaview room.

Location in front of the sea. Room/accomodation size (but not state of the room/bathroom). EXCELLENT view at the sea. Very friendly people working in the hotel. Pool (which we did not use as it was November - but looks great).

Rooms / bathrooms are old. Dont look like 4* hotel at all. And the smell in the bathroom ... Some stinky sewage smell... We would not stay in the hotel again for that reason. Otherwise it would be good value for money 3* hotel. But dont expect you will get 4* accomodation for bargain price - the price is for 3* - and so is the hotel accomodation.

I like the helpfulness of the staff. There is a very nice garden with a pool.

I was given a room with no view facing a brick wall. This must have been the single room despite the fact that I was joined by a friend for all but one night.

Staff very friendly. Tea & Coffee facilities in the lounge and most of all the breakfast. Absolutely first class

The safe in my room had no key, unlike the electronic safe when I stayed previously, so had no secure method to hold valubles though staff did offer hotel safe as an alternative

Le confort et la taille de la chambre, l'amabilité du personnel qui parlait le français, l'acces à internet, le parking; la situation géographique près de la plage et pas tres loin du centre de Sitges.

Notre chambre donnait sur une une rue qui était en travaux et nous avons donc été réveillés par le bruit. Les cloisons de la chambre sont minces et on a entendu rentrer les personnes qui étaient dans la chambre du dessus.
