With superb swimming pools and an elegant restaurant, the elegant, 5-star Elba Palace is also the club house for the Fuerteventura Golf Club.

Admire the impressive foyer of the Elba which boasts traditional Canarian architecture. It has tall palm trees, beautifully tiled floors and a grand chandelier.

Continue through to the marvellous central courtyard, walk along the arched gallery and take a seat in the elegant outdoor armchairs under the cooling palm trees.

Soak up the sunshine and enjoy a round on the 18-hole golf course that faces towards the sea. Alternatively, you can cool off in the Elba’s fresh-water pool or enjoy a game of tennis with friends.

In the evening, wine and dine in style on the open-air terrace, with views of the magnificent golf course.

The Elba’s Hoyo 19 Restaurant offers a delicious lunch and dinner buffet while the Saint Andrew’s à la carte menu celebrates traditional, high cuisine with a choice of national and international wines.

Guests are asked to follow a formal dress code in the Saint Andrews Restaurant.

The Elba’s air-conditioned rooms boast majestic, wooden floors that perfectly match elegant furniture and attractive colouring. Area information

As well as golf, there are plenty of activities to keep you outdoors and active. Try some watersports like jet-skiing or sailing. Certainly the most elegant hotel on Fuerteventura. As they also used brass extensively on entrances and most internal doors, it is regrettable that they are occasionally washed but never polished. Oh for a tin of brasso !	10
