The hotel is within walking distance to museums, restaurants train station. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, great rate and considering we were in Madrid the parking was cheap. |

This hotel was in a perfect location. We stayed here the night before we took an early train to Pamplona. It was a 2 minute walk to the station. The hotel is very nice with a huge bathroom and room. The breakfast is great, too. Not your standard European breakfast. We were very pleased to find eggs and bacon along with the usual items. There is also a grocery store very near by with everything you'll need. The beds were the standard two twin beds pushed together to make a double. The mattresses were a little firm. The bar sold a pitcher of Sangria for an over priced 20 euro! It was good, I'll admit, but travel down the road a bit for a much cheaper and equally good pitcher. |

Nice room, facilities - excellent bathroom. Great terrace, plenty of room to sit out and relax. Breakfast choice and quality of a very high standard. Nothing to complain about, enjoyed overnight stay and would return. |

The staff at the Carlton was excellent and extremely helpful. They assisted us in finding some great entertainment in the area, as well as set up our reservations. The breakfast was delicious, and was what you'd expect for the price. The opportunity to make a morning cocktail with the delicious Spanish Rioja wines was a very nice plus! The bed was quite hard and the bedding was sparse. Thank goodness for the air conditioning, because it is far too loud outside to leave the windows open to cool the room off. |

convenyent to trip around the city, near to the main station and metro station. But quiet in the evening. Very clean and simple. Comfort and efficient. Area around the hotel was not classy, rather lower middle classed. Price gap between weekdays and weekends is big. |

Proximity to the railway station Some cheap accessories spoilt the class of the hotel eg shower gel and shaving cream. A lot of items were extras such as wi-fi which for this class of hotel you would expect to be included in the price. |
