Hotel Pitort

A fairly priced hotel to access Barcelona.

A long walk to shops, could hear guests in next room clearly, having to pay for coffee at breakfast, this should be included when you pay for B&B in my opinion.

First of all, we liked the friendly and very helpful staff (they helped us with directions, airport pickup in the midnight, information on trains and city sights, so on). We also liked the room we stayed in and the fact that it was very clean and comfortable. The price was fair, and the services were above expectations. The hotel is located in Casteldefelldes, 25 minutes away from Barcelona city center (placa Catalunya). From the hotel to the Renfe station there is a 10 minutes walk. The trains to Barcelona are quite often, every 20 minutes. Overall, this is a very good choice for anyone who looks for a quite and clean, comfortable place to stay and for an easy reachable place. Helpful staff, most spoke English, free Internet. Ideal location for train station to Barcelona, quiet residential area. Very clean basic facilities good basic buffet breakfast.

The staff were most helpful, as befits a hotel run by its owner-partners. The set evening meal was of good quality, and excellent value for money. Buffet breakfast was generous. The hotel was mid-way between the railway station and the beach, and it would suit both a city commuter and a holiday-maker. Facilities and equipment were new and of good quality.

Though easy to locate once found, it is wrongly located on the map provided by booking.com.

The facilities were clean and for the most part the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I was a little lost in translation at times, as my Spanish is at an intermediate level. The breakfast is on par, but the cafe con leche is excellent. I feel I was mislead by the listing, as this hotel is about a 20 Euro taxi ride from the airport (or more) and it is not in walking distance to the beach. I thought I was getting a hotel in Barcelona, not in Castelldefels which is a whole town away. But it was very clean and very new. I walked around the hotel and could not find any restaurants, but at least there was hdtv in the rooms and the a/c worked well.

Not in walking distance to beach as mentioned. Kinda in a residential area- no restaurants in sight, long taxi ride from airport, super long taxi ride to train station- not convenient to bus/train station if you have luggage to haul.

The hotel was very clean. Staff were ok/helpful. lovely bar and terrace.

hotel was a good walk from the beach-not the 400ms mentioned. it was also a fair distance (20 min walk in the heat-not good) from the beach town and the main town- they were further than the beach. if you had a car this hotel wuld be more suitable. train was cheap into barca-get a t10 pass if using alot- can also use on the buses- bus takes over an hr and its a horrible trip. the town is very very spainish-very few english menus...check out sitges it is lovely! I'd stay there again!

The condition of hotel is very good and new furniture, tv and beds.

Based in residenial part of a town, 5 min walk from the town centre. 5 min walk from the train station and 25 min journey to Barcelona. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Extremally friendly staff and a room was very clean. Good value for money
