The location was really good, just off the Plaza and lots of shopping at your doorstep. There was a smell the minute you step into the hotel lobby, and it has the same smell in the room too. Unfortunately nothing could be done about it as it was coming from the aircon. If you do not have as sensitive nose as mine, you would not notice it probably, viewing from the number of people staying at the hotel. |

The location is good, and the refurbished rooms of the hotel are nice to stay. The old rooms are shaby, air condition should be stronger and cooler. We did not like the fact that first of al they try to give you the bad shaby rooms' and only after you complain they switch the room to the new part. the other thing is that they automaticaly put you on the lowest floor, and it seems like reservation made through a sub dealer in the internet does not give a chance to have the better rooms of the hotel. |

Very central yet not in a noisy part. Dripping water from pipework in the bathroom. Not much of a nuisance but ruined the aesthetics of the otherwise nice bathroom. |

Large size of rooms, friendliness and helpfulness of reception staff, good free WiFi, excellent location, funky decor Night porter on arrival was uncharacteristically (for the hotel) surly and not polite. Shower drain was a bit smelly. |

It is amodern hotel with a diferrent style. It's clean and cousy. The location is perfect. The spa should be opened from 7:am as all other hotels, not at 11 am. |

The room was spacious and quiet, overlooking the sun terrace and pool. Pool area and indoor lounge areas were very comfortable and relaxing. Location perfect for sightseeing Breakfast was expensive as in many city hotels, but there were plenty of local bars nearby doing very nice breakfast for a fraction of the cost |

Big rooms, helpful staff, great location. Terrible soundproofing. You could hear everyone using toilet or shower on the upper floors. The chlorine in the spa can suffocate you, especialy when you turn on the water jets. |

Location was perfect. It was across the street from the metro stop and one of the top tour bus stops. It's near many of the top attractions of Barcelona. The pool is very nice and the restaurant in the hotel is worth a visit. The room also sported a nice sized bed, unlike other hotels where they push two twin beds together. nice hotel. Do not rely on the hotel staff to give accurate directions or locations of restaurants or buildings. they were not always the most reliable there. Get a good map and walk it yourself or take a cab. Or take their directions with a grain of salt and an expectation of a certain amount of error. |

Right at the center of the city while preserving silence inside rooms. Swimming pool. Too expensive |

Very nice hotel with a good location. Staff was nice and helpful. Big rooms, stylish. The SPA used too much chlorine in the water. When you went to the SPA there was a sharp smell of chlorine and it made everybody cough. The SPA itself was nice and well designed. |

Good location, attractive, quiet, convenient. No table in room, no place to sit, no drawers, closet too small, no parking, bed is unnecessarily large & takes too much space, TV obscured by open doors, breakfast too expensive, glass door to bath gives no privacy. |

Location was excellent, hotel pleasant, modern. Not enough kleenex, no hair conditioner, breakfast good, but over priced. Taxi called by hotel to airport charged more than normal rates. |

Perfect location, 1 minute walk to Las Ramblas, no noise from the street, lovely, clean hotel, very comfortable, safe and enjoyable. I would definately stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it! The hotel offered to send a taxi to the airport when I rang to confrm my booking. I was very pleased until the taxi driver charged 25 euro for waiting time at the airport and although the meter said 40 euro when we arrived at the hotel, he charged 50 euro for the trip. Plenty of taxi's at the airport, don't let the hotel send one. |

The hotel was beautiful and in a good area of town. Easy to walk to city attractions including Las Ramblas, Gothic area, and up to see the Guadi places, etc. The room was incredibly large, actually larger than almost any US hotel I have been in except for suites, and was well appointed. My room # was 224. Friendly staff. Internet was not great in the rooms (wifi, but weak signal and had to relogin to the site all the time). |
