The staff was amazing! Easy access to Madrid. Rather large room, especially the bathroom for a European hotel. Free wi-fi from the 1st floor lounge area. Very cute and very clean room. The staff spoke English and was very acommodating. Great value for the price!

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and the buffet breakfast was excellent for €5. I would definitely go back and stay there again.

It was very noisy outside at night, as they seemed to be doing a lot of work to the plaza, but with earplugs, this wasn't a problem.

lovely clean room, just 1 minute walk from the central Sol metro stop. air con, cheap mini bar, all good.

"double room" featured 2 single beds that weren't even stuck together. only downside to a great trip.

Our shower did not operate correctly and our room was on the street so it was very noisey all night.

Great location, steps off the Puerta Del Sol, reception spoke english well, held our luggage until our room was ready, and after we left before we had to catch our plane. spacious room,s, everything worked and everything was clean. the staff and the hotel were everything we could ask for.

our only issue, our shower (a massage shower by the way) wouldnt drain well. we told the reception, and someone had come in to fix it within the hour. however it wasn't completely fixed.

The location was central and the staff was helpful.

It is a central location but can be noisy at night. The beds weren't very comfortable but I found that in each hotel we stayed in during our trip in Spain.

Well affordable prices for breakfast. Excellent location, 200 m from Metro station.

Front desk people were smoking a lot. Corridors where smelling of smook. The direct surrounding of the hotel was somewhat unpleasant. with at the right a tatoo shop and and at the left a casino. We , as eldery people, do not like at all this sort of behaviour of the younger people, and doubt if we should advice this hotel to pople of our age.

Being very central to all attractions. Excellent, helpful,friendly, english speaking receptionist. The room was very clean with good bathroom facilties. The staff were very prompt to respond to request for extra pillows. Good idea to have reasonably priced drinks in the minibar.

we were in a quiet and spacious back room (ie no street noise) but the water pump system and the lift noise kept my husband awake. Earplugs may be a good idea.

Close to all shops very central..staff were excellent ..room was fully refurbished and very quiet although we were in the center

No everything was great,

Great bathroom and shower (large and marble tiled). Bed was fairly comfortable and the location is very good (close to Metro, shops, restaurants and sights).

Construction just outside started at 9 a.m. and was very very loud -- could not sleep thanks to it. The layout is a little strange, too, sort of a "C" shaped room. Working girls on the street, tho they weren't scary...more sad.

The location cannot be beat! It is right at the Plaza del Sol and only steps from the Metro station. You can walk just about anywhere right from your hotel. We were afraid it would be noisy because of it's location, but it wasn't. Nice and clean, too. The only thing better than the location was the front desk staff. They were the friendliest people we encountered in Madrid.

The air conditioning doesn't work until later in the season (we were there in March), and it was rather hot a couple of the days. Luckily, our window/door opened up so we could cool off better at night.

location is ideal for seightseeing and shopping. At night short walking distance to theatre, opera and jazz bars. Relatively low prices. Free wireless internet 24h. Rooms small and simple, but modern and reasonably equipped.

closet for clothes should be better ventilated, stains in the shower cabinet (actually clean) could be removed and the drainage of shover shoul be better
