The hotel have a shuttle to/from the airport but there was no information as to where the shuttle could be boarded at the airport. The taxi from the airport had a minimum charge of 20 euros even though the journey is less than ten minutes. The hotel charges for the stay as soon as one arrives plus an anticipated supplement of 50 euros that you may spand in the br etc. If this supplement is exceeded the supplement is increased by 100 euros! |

The staff was helpful and nice, the shuttle service was a convenience. I was unable to get coins or exchange US monies despite the 2 day stay in a US hotel chain. Additionally, I was unable to obtain a converter/adaptor as desired. Also, there was no coffee in the hotel lobby and the kitchen staff couldn't understand that Americans use cold milk in hot coffee. You could expand the shuttle to accomidate women/single hotel guests who need to be taken to more areas who are not familiar with the area and are concerned about their safety. Mary Duryea |

Close location to airport. Shuttle service to airport and downtown. Limited restaurant options. Quality or selection of food not great and a little expensive. Room a/c difficult to control, even after asking to adjust, resulting in room being very warm, really too warm for comfortable sleeping. |

The king size bed. No coffee --- No electrical outlets ----- It took four phone calls to get the extra bed in the room that was ordered months ago ---- When taken to the airport, we (my 85 yr old husband in a wheelchair, myself and three suitcases) were dropped off in a parking lot blocks from the Delta entrance. |

I would like to especially commend your front line staff - they really are extraordinary!! Nagore at the front desk was so efficient and helpful - nothing was too much to ask - Dennis, also at the front desk effortlessly solved our travel issues, Xavi, your concierge was above and beyond in his willingness to assist us, as was Juan, who helped us with our baggage and directions - you are very fortunate to have this calibre of people working for you - your hotel was a bit out of the way for my taste, but I would most certainly return, if only because of your staff! Thanks - Rob and Debbie Baxter (Sept. 4 and Sept 27 - approx.) Disappointed in food service - bar was smokey and dining room room felt like a "cafe" - altho' food was good |

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had spent several nights at a different hotel closer to downtown, but moved here at the end of our trip to help accommodate a 6am departure from BCN. Would definitely recommend the same migration tactic to anybody with an early flight out. The food in the 0th floor restaurant was clearly the Barcelonian interpretation of what Americans like to eat. Huge portions, little flavor. It would have been really nice to know that we were going to overpay for bad paella (listed on the menu as "spanish rice plate") when we sat down. Staff was friendly and they were clearly doing their jobs, but the whole culinary approach made for an expensive disappointment. It would have been terrific had they served a true Catalonian menu with an "American Cuisine" section featuring hamburgers, pizza, steak, mac n' cheese, etc. and done them both correctly. The attempt to mix the culinary preferences and expectations of both cultures does insult to both. |

Shuttle service from airport after evening flight into Barcelona. Only stayed one night before travelling onwards. Quick efficient check-in and check-out next morning. Shuttle service back to airport to pick up hire car from Europecar. Friendly, efficient reception staff. Room really nice |

Clean, large room and nice bed. It is also very convenient that there is a place to eat after midnight. We had to wait one hour for shuttle to pick us up at the airport upon arrival. Took a very long time to check out in the morning because computer was not working. When it was time to get shuttle to bring us to the airport, we had to take the second one for the bellhop that day placed the luggage of a group of people who came out after us. The bellhop told us to get the next shuttle for he had placed the luggage of this group of people in the back of the waiting shuttle though we had arrived at the front of the hotel before this people. This cost us almost to miss our flight. |

A-1 service from time of arrival, which was shortly before Midnight. Front desk staff extremely courteous, professional, and multi-lingual. Service staff moving luggage to our room, as well as roll-away bed, was very pleasant and mannerly. Spoke excellent English & French. Our two rooms were spotless and inviting. Very comfortable beds, linens, pillows and nice appointments. Wake-up call with a follow-up were prompt and accurate, assisting us in reaching the airport for our international flight. Because the formal dining room had just closed for the evening, we assumed that we would go to sleep hungry. Not the case, as we were directed to the elegant 'bar & grill", that was below the first level. Really attractive, comfortable & an excellent menu. Our 6 meals were all delicious... and enjoyed by our our children, grandchildren and ourselves. Good wine and cocktails, as well. Sophisticated service staff. This is a perfect place to stay if using Barcelona Airport for entrance or egress from Europe. We had been in southwestern France and traveled easily by train to Barcelona, took a short cab ride to Renaissance, then rode shuttle to airport in morning. Shuttle was comfortable and on time. 1. We appreciated the reliable shuttle service to airport. The van was comfortable. Unfortunately the driver is not familiar enough with the airport terminals and the airlines within each. We asked to be dropped off at KLM, but were deposited at a different entrance which caused us a 20 minute walk. Perhaps you could equip the driver with a terminal list that showed which airline was within each terminal. |

Great location to airport. Updated and modern. Great pool. Great restaurant Room had a bad smell, shower was challenging and the ac did not work well. We were only in it for one night or I would have complained. |

v. convenient for airport, and city via free shuttles which are frequent and reliable. quiet rooms funky decor hard to locate shuttle stops at airport on arrival- advance info on stops for customers when booking would help. No tea/coffee making facilities in room, even on request and beverages ultra expensive throughout hotel |

the room was nice. pay careful attention to the television and buy the "special" rather than each individual movie if you want to watch them. the food in the restraurants was not great considering how nice the hotel was. |

The room was very clean, the staff extremely helpful and courteous and is a good location for travelers coming in and out of Barcelona. They run a free shuttle to the airport and a shuttle to downtown Barcelona at a reasonable 6 Euro per person. The room was a bit noisy during the daylight hours but quiet at nighttime. |

Rooms are good to excellent and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is of very poor quality, it needs to be greatly improved. Cheeses and hams on display in non refrigerated cabinet and therefore the cheese and hams are sweating or very dry! |

The staff was friendly and eager to serve....at no time did any hotel worker pass by you without a pleasant greeting...The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable with all the modern services and technology available...and great service! No there was nothing I didn't like....I would stay again if I visit Barcelona again |
