It was close to the city centre. The rooms were small and dark; and we had to change rooms twice before we got a double. When Ibook a double room I expect to get a double bed. |

Convenient location-nice breakfast. Traditional marble decor. Huge marble bath. No thermostat in room to control temperature. Hotel has no irons available.. Absolutely can hear every little noise-including your neighbor coughing, flushing toilet, telephone, door close. |

The breakfast was out of this world, I would definately reccomend it! We booked a double room but were given a twin (albeit with queen size beds) when questioned the man said that was their 'standard' room and that you only got a big double bed in a suite - however we saw the nextdoor room which was a standard room but had a double bed so I believe we were fobbed off by the staff about the beds! would definately check before hand what you have booked. |

The Hotel was an excellent base to explore the beautiful city of Madrid, the breakfast was enough to set you up for the day! We had a rear garden/courtyard room which was fine but there was a lot of noise from people walking and cases being wheeled on the stone floors at all times of the day & night |

Staff all very helpful. Did find that there were no plugs in room near to a mirror. Great location - esp. for shopping. The hotel restaurant did not open for dinner until 8.30pm - which for Brits is very late. Infact, no restaurants in Madrid opened until after then so you need to plan your day accordingly. We were attending a concert that began at 9.30pm so found it immpossible to eat beforehand. |

The Hotel is perfectly located, in a nice area, and very close to the metro. it is also a very short walk to the Retiro park. The breakfast is great, and the rooms are spacious. very nice shower the walls are a bit thin. |

It's very close to the metro station, in a nice area. The cleaning ladies were very gentle. Our room and bathroom were big and spacious. The breakfast offers a lot of choice but the food was cold. We couldn't start the air conditioning, not a problem for this timeof the year but it could be a problem in the summertime. |
