A comfortable room with a lovely view across Grenada & a small balcony. Very near the Alhambra. We got a good deal on price. Also the mountains and the sierra are easily accessible, at least by car. Extensive public rooms, including a bar & cafe with views, and a smoking room by the entrance. The restaurant was very expensive and the food not as good as all that. If you want a nice meal in a hotel restaurant walk up the hill for 10 minutes to the parador. Two of our party had birthdays at the time of the stay and though I emailed the hotel in advance they didnt acknowledge or do anything. |

The hotel was built in the 1920's in the Moorish style. It has been beautifully restored. Our room had a balcony with a view of Granada. The Hotel is an easy walk to teh Alhambra. Breakfast was great and included in the room price. At 120 Euros this hotel was a bargain. |

The hotel was beautiful, elegant, clean, friendly & located close to everything we wanted to see. It was so beautifully decorated that we couldn't help but take plenty of pictures. Can't wait to go back. |

The fact that it was so close to the Palace and the center. The architecture and views were wonderful. The quality of the food was poor. The scambled egg at breakfast was inedible, and the dinner was very expensive for the quality of the food. The service was good it was a pity about the food. |

the hotel is very convenient to the Alambra and buses into Granada. A lovely old hotel with a Moorish style, which is appropriate to the locatiion. The price was excellent. |

It's old world charm and excellent position overlooking Granada and proximity to the famous Alhambra A-C was not functioning and servicing of bedrooms could be improved,eg change glasses daily etc |

This struck us as a well-run facility that tries to afford its guests a royal Moorish fantasy. Does the "Palace" verge into themepark garishness? Possibly--but we liked it! Large suites, grand spaces . . . a terrific view of Granada. Good food. Impeccable staff. It's not really all that handy to the town below, or to the Alhambra above, but Granada minibus routes were easy to decode--and a cab is easy, too. (Free valet car park.) The Palace strives, clearly, to provide the ultimate in service and luxury. But in these days of environmental assault, we think the Palace could nevertheless refrain from rushing in to whisk barely-used towels off to the laundry. (We checked in, in the morning, and headed out to a city walking tour. Returning a few hours later, we encountered mounds of laundry piled outside each doorway--including our own!) |

The Hotel, location to the Alhambra and the breakfast. The front desk personnel were not very friendly. I got more from the bells man than I did from the front desk. |

Great location for the Alhambra itself and straightforward walk into the centre of Granada, if you don't mind the steep hill, then if you don't like hills don't bother going to Granada! Room had excellent views over the city and the balcony terrace bar is a fabulous place to unwind at the end of the day. Would definitely stay here again. |

Great location, very close to the Alhambra. Amazing views of Granada from our room and from a lovely terrace near the bar. Parking is limited but free and hotel porters manage it quite efficiently. Plumbing is very noisy. |

It was well located for visiting the Alhambra, but also convenient for going to the city centre. The room was a little cool and the heating did not seem to work. The restaurant was too expensive compared to nearby restaurants, which was a shame as we would like to have eaten there one evening. |

Wonderful three days, Our room, on the fourth floor, looked out across the whole of Granada and whole ambiance and appearance of this hotel was absolutely delightful. We took all the opportunities to walk down the pathways into the city and, if you're fit enough, we'd recommend this rather than a taxi. Excellent breakfasts and service at table. Quality of the dinners in the evening varied and, from our extensive experience of hotel dining, were over-priced. However, the cost and quality were outweighed by the wonderful view over Granada - unique and very romantic. |

Close to the Alhambra and other destinations in Granada. Liked having a bath tub. Breakfast buffet was good. Poor lighting in the room. Need to vary the breakfast buffet somewhat from day to day. |
