Good value Hotel with 95% pleasant staff but small odd shaped rooms. Like other reviewers say, this hotel is mainly used for tour groups to Alhambra but as independant travellers we were able to avoid the 6.30am wake up calls, the hoards of little oriental people being frog marched around, the convivial group welcome dinners and the 'gestapo-esque' tour leaders. Breakfast was a little pricey so we just ate a cheese/ham sannie + coffee in the coffee shop which was great. Wonderful position for the Alhambra being just up the hill from the entrance kiosk. Warning : up means up in Granada. Great bus service & good value tourist shops just down the hill from hotel. Traveller tip : If arriving the afternoon before your day visit, go to the Carlos Palace in the Alhambra (free) which will save you trying to fit it in within the 6 hour visit time allowed the next day. Most tours seem to go in mornings (8am-2pm) so we went afternoon and it was great. Don't miss the Generalife Gardens. Ps : The Lion fountain currently dismantled for repair. |

The hotel was very helpful to my disability inside, the food was good and the reception staff were able to speak some English Unfortunately the morning cleaners made slamming doors an art form, the hotel in its write-up offers sound proof rooms this is incorrect. The hotel caters for coach parties and even though we booked privately we were tagged along with large groups especially in the dinning room. |

The view, the storage room for the baggage after check-out and the location which is very near to the al-hambra the bath-tub leaked, there's no plain hot drinking water - no kettle in the room - if you want hot drinking water you have to go to the bar |

The staff were always very helpful. The "buffet libre" dinner was good quality and variety was good. The locaation was excellent and it was very good value for money. Our room was a little cramped, mainly because there were three beds. The beds were pretty basic but very comfortable. Given the rate we were very pleasantly surprised by the overall quality and the cheerful, helpful staff were a real bonus. |

very silent Even the hotel is 5 mitutes from Alhambra, there are very hard srope, it is very hard to carry out your baggage. And there are far from the center of the city, you have to get the bus from Alhambra, too. |

Close to Alhambra, hilly walk down to town was easy and centre was easily accessible by bus at 1.20 euro per trip. Our complaint about a noisy room was accommodated very nicely and we were moved, no trouble. Room 120 was noisy at the top od stairs to the kitchen and lots of banging of doors late 11.30 pm and early 05.32. |

Helpfulness of the staff, the room, the overall facilities We felt that the service in the cafeteria could have been better, there was only one person on duty who worked very very hard but he couldnt keep up with the demand therefore maybe 2 staff would help make this service better |

The hotel was efficient and well maintained. There was no list of internal telephone numbers to order an alarm call or food in our room. |
