Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good. In the restaurant they seemed to prioritise serving food quickly. It was not always as hot as it should have been. |

We found the staff excellent, well informed and helpful. Booked us visits to excellent bodegas. Food a little pricey but very good. Noise not an issue even at vintage time. This is a wine town and it was great to see the trucks and tractors rushing around with the harvest. The hardest thing about this hotel was finding it. Some signs in Haro but no indication it is a little out of the town - more signs needed. |

The staff was friendly and the restaurant gave good value for money. No wine list, you could just pick one of the bottles on display. The pool area had beds for sun-tanning. The hotel is nicely situated for those who like us want to discover the Rioja wine region. The hotel has a non-smoking policy, but there was a slight smell from old smoke in our room. |

pool area was great and the hotel itself very nice. Room was nice and roomy with a seperate bedroom and sitting area. the food was not good at all. It's difficult to walk into town but we were always able to find parking in town for the car so it was not a big deal. |

Nice to have a pool to relax by, between our bodega tours. We stayed there 2 nights. In the middle of the 1st night, we had to change rooms due to some mechanical sound that started whirring every minute and 15 seconds, keeping my husband and I awake. After waking up both of our kids and changing rooms at 1am, we discovered that the wi-fi didn't work in the new room. The next morning, we asked to change rooms again as a result. We were told nothing else was available. We asked for a room discount or something to make up for the inconvenience (both for changing rooms, and for having to go into public areas to use the wi-fi that they claimed should be in every room), and were flatly denied. We made it clear that we were very unimpressed with the way they handled the situation. |

Huge rooms, large bathroom, well furnished, cleanliness, nice and helpfull staff at reception, parking on hotel premisses, services available (internet, hotel swimming pool). Definitely good value for money Hotel is out of the downtown at the main road bypassing the city (but it is just 15 min walk to main square in downtown or local taxi will costs you about 6,- eur) |

drove to the mountains nearby and visited Ezcaray. Unfortunately it was a Sunday and the Bodegas were closed otherwise it would have been an excellent base for Rioja wine tasting. Its proximity to the main road and lack of aesthetic views from the windows |

Nothing in particular excwpt that there is free on-site parking with a few spaces under cover.. The hotel is just outside the town of Haro and its rooms and facilities are no more than average for a two/three star hotel. The bar and restaurant are depressing and are very much in need of a facelift. Dinner in the restaurant was a disgrace. Food had obviously been slapped on to the plates and was all over the rims by the time it was plonked down on the table in front of us. Plated main courses, one meat and one fish, were served swimming in thin liquids which were supposed to be sauces. |

The hotel staff looked after us extremely well, particularly Jennifer and the waitress who served us at dinner. Our meals were excellent and chosen from the fixed price menu, We thought that the gift of a bottle of wine from your vinyard was a lovely gesture and I must say that the wine was excellent. We will certainly stay again when we are in the area - hopefully this will be next year. |

The stylish and modern ETH Rioja is conveniently located in the capital of Spain´s celebrated wine region La Rioja. The hotel offers a good restaurant with an impressive selection of local wines. |
This beautifully restored hotel has 7 centuries of history behind it and boasts a magnificent central cloister with a glass, vaulted ceiling. |
The hotel is conveniently located in Ribera Baja, close to the border between the Basque country and Castile and Leon. |
