The hotel lies direct in the city centre (Gran Via - Callao) and easy to reach by public transportation. From the centre it is just a 2 min walk to the main high street shops. Lots of restaurants are around and only 5 mins you reach Plaza del Sol (good for going out in the evenings and eating). The room was small but very clean and functional. |

This place is right in the centre, close to all hot spots. Public transfer from and to the hostal is perfect. Service is very friendly and helpful. |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It felt like a hotel rather than a hostal. Hostal Lauria is in a perfect location - I could not have asked for a more perfect, safe and central location. It was everything I needed for my trip: clean, central and run by very friendly people. |

It is being recently reformed, everything is quite new, neat and confortable. Room space is fair. I got some noisy neighbours, not big deal they woke me up at the same time they did. You can not hear anything from the street, though. |

The central position in Gran Via. The very small place of the rooms. No common place, and payed internet access. |

Excellent position, within waking distance from all major objectives. The heat was turned on only during the first night out of three. There is no phonic isolation between the rooms, however the noise from outside cannot be heard. |

The room was clean I didn't like the fact that the night staff failed to give me a very important wake up call, which almost resulted in my mmissing my plane. No view in my room was an issue. as well. |

The location was perfect, Gran Via is the main street in Madrid. Located right next to Metro station, 10 min walk to Palacio Real, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Starbucks near by too! Acoustics in room were bad. Felt like if I sneezed the entire floor would here me. Only one staff member spoke English. Transportation from hotel to airport only, but you must tell them in advance. I tried to arrange it with someone who didn't speak English, hopeless, didn't get the ride. |

Excellent location, very friendly man who owns the hotel, cleanliness Night porter wasn't very attentive and fell asleep. I had to wait nearly 15 mins to get back into the hotel at 2am. |

Our air conditioner was broken. If we opened the window the street was very noisy. |
