The location was great, only a few minutes walk from the major museums and sites. There was also a friendly staff and the place was quite quaint. My room faced into a courtyard where no natural light could be afforded. However, it must be noted that scaffolding for construction was up at the time. |

The location was optimal. It was right by Madrid's three major museums, Retiro park, and some metro stops. It is right across from a congressional building, so the street is very well guarded and secure. I felt safe walking there alone at night (as a female). I am twenty years old and the staff was not the friendliest to me at the beginning. Only one staff member spoke English so it was difficult to communicate at times. The walls and door were super thin, and the bathroom was tiny. |

Hotel was adequate - it had a very small bathroom but what do you expect for 49 Euros a night in central madrid. |

Convenient location Yes, the entrance from the main building door to the hotel door on the first floor was almost aways dark (the lights were off) and this made me stumble on the steps a couple of times. I think this can be dangerous and lead to a future incident/accident because someone didn't see a step on the way up or down. I |

On its category this hotel gets the perfect 10. Believe me, i travel a lot. This is a 2* priced hotel with 3* comfort and services. Optimal location. Very clean. Big room. Free wi-fi. Summing up: optimal value for price. No sound proof but it was very quiet anyway. Remember that this is a 2*. |

The staff speak English, very helpful. On my first night, I found the shower doesn't have hot water, they changed a room for me to a double bed room the second night. The location is great, walking distance to most important sites. Very safe area for single female traveler as well. Clean, quiet and great location. The bathroom is very small. It is a little difficult to move around when having a shower. |

The staff where very helpful, location excellent, and very clean rooms. Only issue was the thin walls. My neighbors got in at 1:00 AM and I heard thier hallway and bedroom conversation. But what is to be expected for price of room. Other good qualities helped balance. |

Situated in the heart of historic Madrid, this hostel occupies the fourth and fifth floors of an authentic building dating from the 1890s. |
This hostel is situated next to the Opera theatre, the Royal Palace and very near Puerta del Sol in an artistic and commercial setting. |
This modern and trendy guest house has been tastefully designed in a minimal style and well-situated in the heart of Madrid, near the commercial and business districts. |
Located in the very heart of Madrid, this charming hotel is surrounded by many of the city’s most popular attractions. A traditional and cosy hotel in the Opera area, just off Puerta del Sol. |
