Very convenient location for all tourist attractions and only two minutes walk from Sol subway station. Breakfast in adjacent bar/restaurant included. Very noisy throughout the night (pubs and nightclubs).g |

location and proximity to restaurants not the cleanest place I've ever stayed, and the location is super loud full of bar-goers. Kept us awake until 6am. |

The hotel is near to almost everything...the metro, restaurants, cafes, tapas bar, a short walking distance to Plaza Mayor and to beautiful churches. The air conditioning unit in our room could be operated and temperature controlled by just 1 unit of remote which was shared by other rooms. A few times the aircon shut off in the middle of the night but we did not have the remote to turn it on again. |

Pretty decent facilities, good value for the price paid. Right next to a bar/night club, so at night it was pretty loud and often hard to fall asleep if going to be before about 4AM. |

The location is superb, right in the middle of town, in a lively neighborhood. It is also very clean and friendly. It could be noisy, but there are quiet rooms with double glazing. |

The hotel is very well located in the centre of the city close to Puerta del Sol. The rooms are quite spacious for Europe and clean. The rooms can be noisy and it may be cold in winter months. |

The location was convenient to the Metro and there was a nice breakfast cafe next door. There was a strong odor of cigarette smoke during our second visit (March 12) and I did not realize that there was no elevator. The "beat" of music from the neighboring taverns until 6 am was annoying |

It is located in a central and very nice area where there are loads of options for one to do. It was a bit noisy and the hotel staff doesn't speak English. |

It was very clean and it's right in the middle of the city, there's a train station right around the corner and lots of bars, clubs, and restaurants. At night it gets very, very loud so if you have a problem with that I wouldn't recommend it, other than that great value totally worth it if you're planning on going partying. |

That it is in the very center of the town. I found it very strange that the hotel staff did not speak any English. And on Saturday nights I don't think anyone in the hotel could sleep until 4-5 in the morning due to a bar downstairs. |

The hostal is very close to bars and cafes, you feel like you are in the heart of Madrid. The room was very clean and quite recently decorated. Some people might be bothered by the noise - very noisy until 4 / 5 / 6am, as it is above a salsa club. Do not stay here is you want sleep!Although I had ear plugs with me, so I wasn't too bothered! |

friendly staff, cheap price some rooms smelled of smoke. Difficult to open front door so guests pressed door bell late at night for the porter - making it hard to get sleep. shower hose was broken. bed sheets not thoroughly cleaned. |

Location in reference to mayor attractions Staff was not very helpful and it was located in a very noisy sector. There was noise 24 hours a day. YOu coudln't even sleep peacfully |
