The Hosteria Grau was an amazing value for the money. The location was handy, the staff was very helpful, the atmosphere was laid back and comfortable, and the rooms were clean and updated. The common area upstairs with couch and internet was very tastefully decorated and convenient for staying in touch. |

Obviously any hotel near Placa Catalunya / La Rambla is going to be expensive - this was reasonable value for money. The staff were welcoming and the room basic, but adequate, with a good bathroom. Building work was going on inside the hotel, and the walls are thin, so it was very noisy early in the morning. The room was an interior one, with virtually no natural outside light and it was not possible to check what the weather was doing from inside the room.. |

Friendly, and very helpful staff who all spoke English. Although no tea making facilities, staff found us a kettle and cups. Good door security. Staff on duty 24 hours. Traditional Spanish decor with a homely atmosphere. High standard of cleanliness. Freshly decorated rooms all with air conditioning. Spacious shower. Very central but quiet location only 2 minutes away from la Ramblas. Loved it. |

Very nice, clean hotel. I came to see Barcelona, the hotel served its purpose. It was in the heart of the city. Of course, it comes with a price... It gets noisy at night. But this is Barcelona! No elevator, no tv. There was no hair dryer in the room, I had to ask for it. But this was very minor. |

Friendly staff, clean place, great location For some reason they had made a mistake with our booking, and although we clearly had a booking for two rooms, they only had us down for one. They did however offer us an alternative. |

Its convenient location. It is right next to the placa catalunya metro station and The Ramblas and the airport bus. We had been staying further up the coast and this was our stopping off point before flying home. Unfortunately we were in an apartment on the fourth floor and there is no lift, however, the location, staff friendliness etc more than made up for this. We have recommended this hotel to friends and they have enjoyed their stay there. |

Ho apprezzato la cordialita' all'arrivo e la sempre disponibilita' in ogni cosa a qualsiasi ora. l'ambiente molto caratteristico in pieno centro e pulito...segnatevi questo hotel se andate a Barcellona niente, se si puo' devinire non gradito sono le sclale..ma sono talmente pittoresche che le rifarei volentieri. |

Prettig personeel en propere kamer met airco en plafondventilator. Goede centrale ligging in het hart van Barcelona. Internetfaciliteit is prima. Kamer aan straatkant is 's nachts rumourig met raam/deur open. Airco aan is niet prettig door het geluid. Het bed is met 1.90 m te kort, ook is de binnenvering reeds te voelen. |

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal som pratade engelska.Centralt läge.Enkelt men rent och snyggt. Tungt att bära resväskor uppför trapporna eftersom jag skulll resa vidare och hade många bagage. |
