This hotel is in an excellent location for visiting the beautiful city of Madrid. Staff were very friendly and contrary to previous reviews we found the breakfast excellent. |

My friend and I just loved our stay at the Victoria 4. Although it was "in the middle of the action of nightlife in Madrid" our room was quiet and cool in spite of all the nightlife activity and the heat wave. Clean and modern bathroom. Next to Puerta del Sol and the new Metro. Continental Breakfast couldn't have been better... If something, just a lack of drawers to keep our clothes and, please, the street name is called "Calle de la Victoia", not "Calle Victoria", so our Taxi driver may know where it is located next time we go; He figured it out thanks to his GPS. |

The hotel is located in the true heart of Madrid. Acoustic isolation from outside noises is very good, but unfortunately it doesn't works for inside noises (see below) The closing system of the doors make them slam and the noise is very loud and maddening , especially at night. On the base of our experience, this is very irritating when the guests don't close the doors "by hand", especially in the case of young people coming back in the early morning, school trips etc. |

Super located. Friendly staff. The rooms are noisy, mostly because of laminate floors in the rooms and corridors and location of beds near the corridors. |

Excellent position, right at the hub of things in Madrid. Surrounded by tapas bars and restaurants. Breakfast area in the cafe was very busy but otherwise satisfactory. |

The staff was young, helpful and friendly and the location is perfect. Facing front we had no noise problem at all due to great windows and air conditioning. A physically and socially comfortable experience in a city that was new to us. Great value - would do it again. would have been nice to have a clock in room. |

Clean, spacious, comfortable room. Well appointed bathroom. Helpful and friendly reception. Proximity to important monuments. Location: although hotel was quiet, near-by bars are opened all night and bar customers are definitely not quiet regardless of the time. |

Fantastic location right off the Ramblas. Breakfast was accross the alley at a restaurant bar and the service there was very average and the food provided was very basic with no choice and served with grim faces! Only had breakfast there once even though we had booked breakfast with our accomodation refused to eat there again. |

Covenient city location, a good buzz in the area, and the courteous helpful staff Our initial room allocation was to a rather smelly double room, but this was quickly changed to a clean and fresh twin room by the helpful staff. |
