The hotel has an excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is plentyful and the rooms are remarkably large for a Madrid hotel. If you want comfort and quiet in the midst of Madrid´s business area, this is a great place. It is located in the Salamanca district, a high-end neighborhood, not in the city center. Other hotels of this quality have a business center with computers, fax, etc. This is the one thing that I find missing. |

The room was super big with even a kitchen and fridge. The beds were very good. Location is great, just a minute walk from Retiro Park. Metro at 3 minute walk. Shops & restaurants in the area. Very quiet rooms, even at the street side. Breakfast was super with pastry, fruit salad, yoghourt, salmon, meat, serrano ham, cheese, eggs, different kinds of bread and juices. |

Reception staff was very good at English; all staff were tolerant of our Spanish. Service was top-notch. We especially recommend their breakfast buffet. We stayed twice at Jardin de Recoletos and happened to get the same room both times. On the second visit, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, but airing the room made it acceptable. Unlike the states, there do not seem to be designated non-smoking rooms. |

The rooms were quite comfortable and the front desk staff (Martin H.) was always helpful even though we primarily communicated in English instead of Spanish. Its location was convenient to get to from the metro station. |

It's close to the shopping district of Salamanca - Serrano neighborhood. The hotel is fine; but overpriced. |

I definitely recommend this hotel to anybody! The hotel is very well located, right behind the national library and about 15 minutes walk to the must see stuffs. The room is incredibly big, with sofa and kitchen inside, very quiet and comfortable! The staffs are so nice and professional! |

The hotel is very nice and in a great location (despite the road works in the area - the noise did not impinge on us at all in the hotel). We had a very spacious room. The staff were very helpful and courteous. All in all a most enjoyable stay. |

Quite in an otherwise bustling city.Only disturbance was the clip clop of shoes above us on the marble floor. Beds were very comfortable. Staff although good, were a little slow. |

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and always welcoming. They have a garden where you can eat and/or enjoy a drink. We did not have the buffet breakfast but there were good places nearby. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel is near many subways and is an easy ride from the airport. The hotel was quiet however there was construction being done a block away and if you have a room in the front and it could be an annoyance. |

The lobby sitting area is beautiful. Breakfast is served buffet style overlooking the garden and is very special. Service is top notch too. The kitchenette in the room is convenient for cold drinks and snacks. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly with restaurant suggestions, flamenco reservations and train information to get to Segovia. I reserved a triple but the third bed was only a sofa pull out bet. |
