Being in the centre everything was close enough to walk, buses were close by for the infirm (me) to visit the alhambra and the jewish quarter, which was excellent. Coffee/Tapas bar attached to the hotel if you didn't want to use the breakfast room. Our 2nd stay and we will return again it is so convenient. Beds were too hard it was like sleeping on the floor. |

The hotel is central and therefore very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. We use this hotel every time we have an overnight stay in the city. The staff are helpful and the rooms are comfortable. The car park is a little narrow!! |

Room was very nice and clean. Facilities good. Staff very helpful and nice. Buffet breakfast is really good. Cost 5 Euros by taxi from the Railway station. Very near to the city center from where you can easily get to Alhambra. During the breakfast a trio of thieves entered the dining hall un-noticed and pinched a lady's purse. Shocking that the hotel is so vunerable to thieves |

Location is good for city visit According to the hotel information "we arrange for our guest the Alhambra tickets", but when we arrived their, they said there is no service any longer... thus, we had to be on a long long queqe at Alhambra the next day, and couldn't get the ticket which include the visit of Nasari Palace ( part of Alhambra) !! |

Although the room was not ready (we arrived too early at the hotel) the receptionist was very helpful and took out luggage leaving us free to explore, when we returned the room was ready,it was very comfortable the air conditioning was very welcome. The breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive. The tour bus and airport bus stopped outside, there was a taxi rank when needed. |

Excellent location which could not be beaten and yet not noisey. Surprising how much you got for so little money. Bedroom accomodation was quite basic and antiquated. Tiny bath you have to scrunch up to fit into. |

Staff were friendly and helpful and mostly they were able to answer our questions. Some of their recommendations were excellent. On the last day we had to leave the hotel at 07:00 in the morning. Neither the breakfast room nor the caffeteria were open before we left and we were unable to have even a coffee before setting out to travel back to England via Malaga. |

Very good location, easy to access at all times during day and night. Staff helpful. Very clean. Bathroom in need of attention - broken bowl with sharp edges( not good hygiene!), showerhead leaked on to floor. Also rooms quite noisy, could hear nightime activity in adjacent room! |

Very central - easy to go anywhere from. Really good sized family room (all proper beds too) with big bathroom. Staff all friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back there. Great value. Not a big deal but the outside of the hotel looked like it needed some TLC so our first glimpse on arrival was a bit "Uh oh". No need to worry though as the inside was lovely. I haven't seen other reviews on this hotel so can't say if tru reflection. |

Positive items: Friendliness of personnel; breakfast buffet; cleanness of rooms. The room and the bed were very very small. This wasn't worth the price even there was a "discount" on the room. The pictures which shows the rooms, beds and furniture are a straight lie of reality. I wouldn't book a second time in this hotel, not for this price. Other points: noisy room; airconditioning which didn't work because it was april, but therefore uncomfortable. |

Very close to airport bus drop and centre of Granada, ideal for sight seeing We stayed at the end of March and the rooms were very hot at night When we queried the fact that the air conditioning was not working we were told it was because it was too early in the season. |

Hotel Alixares is located in front of the Alhambra, one of the most beautiful monuments all over the World. Fifteen minutes walking from the historical center of Granada. |
This smart and elegant hotel is located next to the congress palace, just a short walk from Granada's old quarter. It boasts traditional-style, luxurious gardens, where you can relax in the afternoon. |
Set in the heart of Granada, this elegant hotel offers views over the magnificent Alhambra Palace and other ancient monuments from its rooftop swimming pool. |
The hotel is conveniently situated in the city centre, within close proximity to the cathedral, Granada’s main shopping area and a good selection of Tapas bars and restaurants. |
