Emilio welcomed guests warmly and offered terrific advice on everything -- from where to find free parking, his favorite spots in the village, and the best\most creative local dining establishment. The overall experience was of an old, traditional hotel, centrally located, with a real sense of small town hospitality. Note: Emilio appeared to be the only employee that spoke English. While my experience was very good, the rooms are far from sound proofed, so at a busy time of year, noise might be a problem. |

The staff were wonderful and the hotel is comfortable and very central. Arcos is enchanting and the Semana Santa processions are very moving. |

Historic building with lots of character; bathroom with full-size bath; the gentleman at reception during the afternoon/evening was excellent - very helpful. TIP - ask at reception if you need a hairdryer as they are not automatically supplied. There is no lift so it might be difficult for people with limited mobility. |
