The location is excellent. Across from the beach and one street over from the main road. The bed and pillows were under par. |

free internet access, friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Close to seafront. a lot of noise from the street. Small (twin) room, which looked more like a glorified single room. Bar prices quite high |

The hotel's location is ideal (directly across street from the beach) and a short walk to shopping district. The restaurant's food was good and directly across from the beach promenade. The staff was always polite and helpful. The mattresses in our room were horrible. |

The hotel restaurant and especially the breakfast in the morning, sitting outside looking at the sea. Great promenade location in the heart of Sitges opposite the beach. Friendly staff. Very good value for money Towels washed in a detergent/bleach which caused mild skin reactions. Room very hot, air conditioning not working. |

My friends were staying at The Calipolis along the road which was expensive and I was dreading The Santa Maria as I am used to nice hotels and was very impressed in the fact it was a lot cheaper than my friends and I also had a balcony and my room was much bigger than theirs. They had a pool and i didnt but when I saw their pool I was shocked at how small it was. |

Attentive & efficient staff. Maids cleaned rooms whatever time of day suited us really. Nice (and very popular) restaurant. Two English channels on tv (bbc1 & 3). Great views. On seafront road where noise levels were much higher than last time we stayed - lots of loud traffic with noisy exhausts drowned out other nicer seafront sounds for much of our stay. Paid 10Euro per night extra for balcony (on top of sea view supplement) yet balcony was too small to sit out whereas others were much larger. |

My room was beautiful, particularly large comfortable bed and pillows and spacious bathroom. It was immaculate after servicing each morning. Reception, service and most waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast fabulous (served till 11) and so very civilised, overlooking the sea front. All meals delicious especially the best range of deserts one could wish for! The hum of air-con on my mountain-facing balcony in the afternoon was a little irritating, though lovely birdsong morning and evening almost compensated! Glad I took my little travel kettle to use as there was not one provided in the room. Weekend evenings very busy in the restaurant but this was a reflection of excellent food. |

Lovely restaurrant underneath We had an apartment above our room which was noisy, dragging of furniture and a barking dog - but we put up with it. When we told the staff when we checked out they said that we should have mentioned it sooner and they would have moved us - we should have thought of that! |

Staff was very kind, situation was perfect, rooms were perfect and nothing disturbed. Hotel is very easy to access and food was great. Not like some factory, very cosy atmosphere. Special thanks for the lady owner, who was listening very well to our special wishes. |

good location on a seaside promenade Nothing special if you do not have a room with sea view. There are other hotels available with better price/performance. Primary business of establishment is the restaurant and it is clearly visible. |

Location is excellant, and we had a sea view with our first floor room and a great balcony (cost 10 euros extra but worth it!). Menu at the restaurant looked good and the terrace at lunchtime was packed so food was obviously popular, although we didnt get a chance to try it, will leave that for next time. Room was very large and therefore cold although the air conditioning unit was doing a good job trying to heat it. Breakfast room was also cold with no heating (we visited during december). |

Warm welcome at reception and general friendliness of the staff. Spacious, elegant, sea view room. Good value restaurant. The twin beds were not of the standard expected from the price paid for the room. The sea view supplement was rather high (30Euros/night) |

The location and room were excellent. Wonderful view of the ocean and beach from our balcony. The parking was a challenge, and there were no bellman available to unload our car. I had to haul 4 suitcases and other items through the restaurant from the parking area to the elevator. |
