Reina Isabel is een klasse hotel, direct gelegen aan de boulevard van Las Palmas. Hoewel niet overdreven sjiek, waardeert het hotel het niet als de heren in korte broek het restaurant betreden. |

City hotel with a beachside location. The rate included free parking and sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. The breakfast was superb. We upgraded to a sea-view room which was well worth the additional charge. We got a late check-out also without any hassle. |

The proximity to the beach - just in front of the hotel- listening to the sea at night. Easy access to the shopping area of Las Palmas. The provision of a full buffet dinner every evening at a reasonal rate, The pool on the roof, gym and sauna. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful with regard to my special needs diet, and likewise housekeeping kept our bedroom scent free, a welcome change which made the stay all the more enjoyable Our first night was a bit frantic. Our room was above the front door, on the 2nd floor There was a wedding party and we were awake until well after 3a.m. The curtain in our bedroom would not close, so we had the street lights coming in. I reported this to reception the next morning to be met with "so you want a Sea-View"? I was very taken aback. When I held my position it was put to me "you are Amercian! I am not and did not know what race had to do with my complaints. This lead to a situation where I avoided Reception but did report this behaviour on our last day. It was very disconcerting and was the only place in the Hotel that lacked a total professionalism. I trust this will be dealt with in the interests of future guests. |

The location was excellent Some things were not in good shape like the balcony door could not be locked and the safe didn't work. I couldn't park my car because of works at the parking lot (not mentioned) cost me extra money to park the car |

i enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the freindliness of the staff and thought the buffet breakfast was great and the location. main complaint was that my friend and I were locked out on our balcony! we closed the door and could not re open the door as there are no handles. we waited for 35 minutes until we could hear someone on the next balcony and asked for them to ring down to reception. this could have been an extreamly bad incicident as we were on the 6th floor and it could have been very late at night when no one was around- there are no warning signs about not closing the door. |

Staff always helpful, room comfortable and well-equipped. Also they left me a bottle of wine in the room on my birthday, even though I hadn't mentioned it. I thought that was nice. Only niggle was that for breakfast they had available 'potatoes with onions' and 'potatoes with bacon bits'. Unfortunately these were in the same tureen, although on different sides. Not very good for vegetarians or Muslims, neither of which want the pork in their food. |

The location on the beach, the breakfast, the seaview were amazing. I also liked the pool and the short distance to the shopping and transport centers I would really like to see more careful attention from the personel |

The proximity to beach,shops,restaurants,bars,right on the seafront was very handy.The pool area was top class,with lovely comfy sunbeds and was always spotless.The staff at the pool bar were really lovely,and pleasant and helpful.The breakfast was very enjoyable,having a great variety of food, both hot and cold and plenty of fruit,yoghurts cerealsetc available.A really nice relaxing holiday.This was my second time to stay in the hotel and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends or family. The only thing I could find fault with was the air conditioning, in our room,we had it turned to 5 degrees but the room just stayed too warm. I probably should have brought it to the attention of the hotel staff but just didnt want to bother complaining as everything else was excellent |

The hotel was well located and convenient to the beach and promenade. I also liked the free internet which is absolutely critical. I willl not stay at hotels that charge for internet. It is like charging for electricity. The hotel is tired. The room are small and uninteresitng, the common areas in need of upgrade. The coffee is horible. Coffee is important...you should pay attention to making the best coffee possible. It does not cost any more...it just takes attention. Also, he air conditioning is ineffective and old. It is just foreced air and really can no be used to make the room more comfortable. |

lovely location on the beach I specifically stated in my booking that I wanted a strong internet signal in my room. There was no wi-fi signal in my first room and when I was moved to another room it had a very limited signal. Could not work on my laptop |

The hotel staff was friendly, gentle and helped us in many cases. They speak and understand english very well (not so common in Spain). The breakfast is very good with a lot of things to eat for any taste (just the cofee was not so good but this is a problem of any non-Italian hotel). Even if there are a lot of free services provided by the hotel, the building is not so fresh and probably would need some update. Rooms are ok, the bathroom could be better, you need to close the window if you don't want to ear external noises. |
