Die Lage direkt am Meer hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es ist sehr ordentlich und am Pool sind ausreichend Liegestuehle, und man findet auch stets irgendwo eine schattige Stelle. WLan ist nur auf dem Balkon des Treppenhauses moeglich, das finden wir schade, darf aber von einem Aufenthalt in SurfMar nicht abhalten. |

Buffet war gut, Außen und Swimmingpool waren sauber. Das Zimmer ist nur für 1 Stern Hotel geeignet. Zimmer war verschimmelt und feucht. Die Wasserleitung und die Lampe im Bad waren defekt. Ich könnte im Badezimmer mit mit meine Taschenlampe duschen. Der Service von der Rezeption war nicht gut. |

We liked it's quiet location, but still very close to the centre of Lloret de Mar. We found the bedroom walls to be very thin/poorly insulated and felt uncomfortable at how a quiet conversation was clearly heard from the room next to ours. |

The location is probably the main positive about the hotel. Pools were also a plus. Breakfast pretty much the same everyday but lots to eat, except disgusting 'juices' made of powder, I guess. Hotel is just yards away from a bus stop that takes you in 5 mins to Lloret centre. Beach very quiet eventhough with lots of tourists. On arrival to the hotel, I found out the price I was supposed to pay was incorrect and I was aked to pay about 50 Euros more. The second day of our stay we left early for Barcelona and when came back around midnight, our room was open!!! Unacceptable!!! Despite reporting immediately to the reception, we did not hear any apology form the staff. We were told that the governors were informed about the incident and that if nothing was lost, they are unable to do anything. Also, on the day of the departure (check out is 10am) at 9:30 I was literally sitting on the toilet, when cleaner got inside gesturing that is time for me to go... |

The location to the beach was fantastic - was nice to be away from the main area of lloret de mar which was always busy and crowded, the hotel rooms were basic but clean. Breakfast was better than we expected. The pool area has plenty of loungers. The hotel is low budget and pretty no frills. The fact we were put in a room over the bar. It was very noisy and we were happy that people were there dancing and having a good time, but we just were wanting to relax at the beach and then sleep well at night. We did ask to move rooms and they kindly moved us to the otherside of the building - the new room was above the kitchen (still noisy but more bearable) |

Located next to the beach, has a lot of facilities, a convenient bathroom, a balcony. The breakfast was great! A nice hotel to stay at. Thin walls - could hear the neighbors too well. A bit far from the city center, but a bus (L2) passes by every 20-30. |

Nearness to sea The Food, the breakfast was average, the evening meal was less than average but I did not expect any more in view of the price. The hard beds around swimming pool are very uncomfortable and should be changed for canvas. |

close to the beach, silent edge of the town - these were great advantages the reception staff was passive and not realy helpful when needed, e.g. they could not advise connetction details (bus/train) to Barcelona |

The pool area was OK. The breakfast was very poor and it was very noisy in the room where breakfast was served. The rooms were outdated and in quite bad condition. The walls were thin so the sound isolation was very poor. The airconditioning was not powerful enough which left the air in the room slightly warm/moist. |

The shows that the entertainment crew had for all the guests of all ages, the variety of dishes,(dinner), view from the balcony, location of the hotel, the gardens and the hard worker staff. breakfast was good but repetitive and not a lot of choices and the A/C was !not so good! |

The Surf Mar is an excellent Hotel. Room was great and very clean with lovely balcony overlooking the pool - yet very quiet in the evenings and at night. B'fast was very good too. The Hotel is very close to Fenals Beach, Gardens and Lloret Centre, and close to main bus stop. Excellent value for money! The only -ve points: no mini-fridge in room and found it difficult to communicate in English. |

Good location near the beach and not so noisy as in Lloret.Thery helpfull staff. Good breakfasts Rooms on the 4th floor are terrible, looks like in 2 star hotel and even worse. We moved to 1st floor having paid additional 20 euros per night. Rooms on the 2 floor anwsers 3 star hotel conditions, not 4 stars. If your room windows look on the pool, you or your children would not sleep till 12 p.m. and later because of the noise from animation |

This is not a 4 star hotel. The room was very poor (very old furniture, dirty towels, no frige). Also they do not have posibbility to connect to internet nowhere in the hotel. I can say that was a 2 star accomodation. |

Very close to the beach and have partial sea view from all room`s Anonim, Romania, Timisoara: towel`s was clean but not very nice odor, in the first day they didnt change our towel`s; I am from Romania and i compare 4* hotel from Romania with this one and i think this in Romania would be a 2,5* hotel. Internet was very expensive and they dont have wireless network. If you choose this hotel is better to take just breakfast and other meal to have in town because the menu is not very rich and is the same every day |

The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The cleaner was very polite and nice. The staff at reception were helpful, but could be more friendly in terms of smiling at the guest. |
