We like the central location, modern bathroom with massaging shower, the patio, free Internet, the elevator and proximity to all major sights and shopping. Closeby there is Museo Jambon where you can get breakfast for 2 euros. My friends stay at the corner of calle Jeronimos and a side street and she found it noisy esp. when people came back late and made noise in the corridor. But this can happen in any hostal or hotel. |

The location is ideal for visitors wanting to explore Madrid. The hostel is maintained in a very clean condition and the staff both pleasant and helpful |

Nicely remodeled older hotel. Very noisy street day and night. Good Location a few block from every thing to see in Madrid. Good value for the price. The WI-FI was not available from 23:00 - 9:00 local time. |

Location is great. Large room (we booked a 3 person) with decent beds compared to the super hard beds we had at other hotels in Spain. There was no one there at the front desk when we checked in that spoke English and their Spanish was very fast and hard to understand. |

Staff helpful, tolerant of my bad Spanish and all but one spoke English too. Excellent location and good value. Some in-hotel noise in one of our two rooms at tines. |

Clean, simple yet handsome decor, good space for an economy hostal in downtown Madrid, close to metro stop, halfway between retiro park and royal palace. Free wifi and a computer in the lobby for guests to use, no charge...nice, friendly, helpful staff, no english but it was no problem. Our room was on the 5th floor above the street. We could not sleep because of noise, there no way to shut the window, madrilennos party until dawn, construction workers jackhammer all day, and we arrived from the us very tired. |

The location is excellent, could do almost everything on foot. Did not have to carry bags on the stairs, have a lift! Has 1 computer with Internet access for free, but the keyboard was in poor condition. |

Good location and clean rooms. Staff polite but not what I would call friendly. Room next to 24 hr reception and with a window facing main street - very noisey all night - difficult to get a good nights sleep. |

The location was absolutely great, right in the shopping center near a metro station. Vending machines in the hallway. Great value for money! Small windows, partly brick-view. |

I enjoyed the hotel location in the center of the city, its cleanness, good service. I stayed on the fourth floor which has been recently renovated, and the hotel room looked very new and cosy. I also liked that the staff of the hotel was accomodating: the room I was initially offered didn't quite suit me, but early next day, before I had time to say anything, the hotel staff gave me the key to the new room and said they will move my luggage themselves. Which they did, and I appreciated it. The hotel itself was very nice. A little bit noisy at times in the hall, but I already knew about it from other reviews. The street renovation outside was noisy during the day, but as I was out most of the time, it was not such a big deal. |

Walked around Madrid, enjoyed the architecture, the tapis and the friendly people. Noisy doors to each room when closing when trying to sleep. |

It´s a good value hotel, with nice modern room and fabolous shower at a nice central location and in the nice part of town. If you can get it at the time where it´s at the bargain rate (the 1st time I was here) it´s a real good deal. This is my second stay at this hotel, so I obviously liked it enough to come back. However this second time it wasn't quite as good as my 1st time. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful but could not speak English (this is quite normal in Spain unfortunately though). I had asked for a quiet room as I was arriving back late each night to my room and needed to sleep in - but my room was across from the service room so I was woken up and kep awake a lot. The internet connection was very patchy also. |

The location is great - near the metro and lots of restaurants and shopping. The room and bath were very clean. Although the bed took up most of the floor space, we had a wardrobe closet for clothes, a desk and a large beautiful balcony to enjoy in the evenings when things cooled down. |
