Typical European breakfast included in the price was plentiful and allowed us to skip lunch. Hotel is very convenient to shopping, 10 min walk to major sightseeing, 2 min walk to Madrid Hop on, Hop off bus stop. Great value for the money! The only thing we did not like was the mattress. It was very hard, after a 8-10 hour day walking/sightseeing it was difficult to relax in bed. |

Nice room. Good towels. Reasonable price for quality. Quiet environment. In the city centre. Easily reachable. Some strange, but acceptable, background noise from outside. Although my room was non-smoking I could smell some cigarette smoke, perhaps from the neighbouring room. |

Central yet quiet location and competetive price (when booked online). Clean facilities and helpful staff. Generally happy. No face cloth/flannel provided. Ideally free internet access. |

Central situation in Madrd. Very convenient for tourist activities. You could have tea or coffee supplied free to your room by phoning reception but when we had coffee in the hotel lounge we were charged. |

The location Although parking in Madrid seems to be a big problem the parking arrangement is unsatisfactory for tourists. We were forced to pay 28 euro for 24 hour parking (!). |

Location was very good and staff was friendly and provided good local directions. No free internet, there is a for pay internet machine in the lobby but hotels costing much less money now provide free internet computer in the lobby and so should this hotel. Also , bathroom is a bit cramped. |

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with amazingly powerful showers. Perfect location, near metro, new town and old town areas, shops and restaurants. Most things are within walking distance so l had no need to even use the Metro. Shuttle service to airport costing €11 per person, getting a taxi costs about €40 (Sept 2009). You can leave you suitcases there when you check out if you wish and then pick them up later in the day. Couldn't get the free wifi to work on my iPhone, think you need a laptop. Was a bit noisy outside one of the rooms I booked as some are facing the road while others are facing inwards. The noise only seemed to be in the morning though after about 9am and wasn't really an issue for me. |

This hotel has a very small lounge area , facilities were clean and basic, The lounge is somewhat dark and dull. My room was very small , however it was functional and i was vey impressed the fact the it was cleaned every day. The limited availability of meals outside normal hours |

Location. Close to metro stations and walking distance from other turistic sites. The hotel cleaning people did not wait for us to leave when they place a baby crib in our bedroom limiting the space available in the room. |

Although I was leery when I saw it at first, (in a little alleyway), it was nice and clean. It was smaller than I was used to staying in. |

- It's location in the downtown with easy access to metro, bus; - the cleanliness of the room; - availability of an airport shuttle at 11EUR/person, much more convenient than using the taxi (I am not sure if the availability of this service is published on the hotel website) Insufficient power supply plugging in facilities (one free plug/ room) => difficulties to supply the batteries for mobile phones, video/photo cameras, etc |

Breakfast was typical continental and ok but nothing special.Hotel was handy for the city centre with Metro close by. We chose to walk as many of the sights was within walking distance. As the hotel didnt have a resteraunt eating out in the evening is a problem if you prefer to eat before 8.30. We did however find a couple of good places close by that did open earlier. As the hotel is in the City centre and just of the main Grand Via you do get quite a lot of noise as people make their way home after a night out. At weekends this can be anytime upto (and later) than 6am.Also at around 1.30-2am the rubbish bins are dragged out. If anything woke me around this time I found myself waiting for the bins being taken out and couldnt get back to sleep until. |
