close to the airport is the only advantage rooms very small; sliding bath room doors do not close properly.you can literally hear, smell and watch what is happenoing in the bathroom; some might feel suffocated as the rooms are very small. no good restaurants nearby. airport shuttle and breakfast availalble only after 7 AM |

It's convenient -- close to Madrid's airport (without being on the flight path), and only a block from a Metro stop (for a quick trip downtown). Staff were very friendly, helpful and English speaking. Rooms were small, but modern, attractive and clean. We had a difficult time getting to the hotel: After turning in our car rental at the Madrid airport, we tried to find a taxi to the hotel -- but no taxi would take such a cheap fare, given that the hotel was fairly close by (a couple miles?). Meanwhile, other hotels were regularly circulating minibuses through the airport--but we had to put in a special call to summon a shuttle from our hotel. It took us a couple hours to figure all that out and get it accomplished (via our weak Spanish). |

Communication in English was good.Front desk staff were very helpful. Transfer to and from airport were very helpful and were one of the reasons we booked this hotel. |

Shuttle to the airport was very efficient A/C was turned off and the room was very hot. It was not "next to the Metro", but three blocks away. |

The shuttle to the airport. The metro was several blocks from the hotel, not a big deal unless one is traveling with luggage, then it seemed like several big blocks! Traveling on the metro to the city center took over an hour. |

We were very impressed with check-in receptionist & also welcomed shuttle service to the airport. The bedroom was a little small for 2 people. The check-out receptionist seemed a little tired - perhaps he had been on duty all night? |

It was my 3rd time staying in Villa de Barajas (1st one as walking passenger 2007 - 2nd & 3rd through this website 2009) and I think I can recommend it! :) single room was small specially the bathroom... (the shower was very small but very clean) |
