I've booked a double room and got twin instead which was dissapointing. Was told they're full and there might be a chance to change the next day but they didnt promise. Me and my partner could not be bothered the next day. |

This hotel is an excellent value. It's close to the Gran Via, but far enough away to avoid the street noise. Also very close to the Plaza de Espana Metro stop. All of the staff were extremely, extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The only things I did not like about this hotel were the thin walls (you can hear everything going on in the next room) and the poor quality of the breakfast for the price. |

This hotel was in a very central location to the main areas of interest in central Madrid. I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly. I would give this hotel a high recommendation. |

The hotel is located right in the centre of Madrid, near the Gran Via and Plaza de Espana, and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The hotel seems to be quite new, and we found it far more classy than is shown on the pictures. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent. It's definitely one of the best 3-star hotels we've seen so far. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice. The wi-fi should be available for free. |

We were not happy with this hotel but in fairness, the room and bathroom were clean. However, the lighting was very poor in the room. The hotel down a dark, narrow street with a gutted out building across the street and a vacant building next to that. Even tho the weather was unseasonably warm in the high 60's - 70's all week, the hotel had turned OFF the air conditioning. We had been in Madrid most of the week but the desk clerk said it had just gotten warm that very day, which was not true. It was very hot and stuffy in the room. It was suggested that we open the window. The windows didn't have screens, it was a noisy location with barking dogs, what sounded like trash can pick-up in the early a.m. and plenty of pigeons. Fortunately we were only at that location 2 nights. |

Friendly, accommodating staff, clean quiet hotel reasonable priced. Air conditioning that is very quiet and works well. Slightly historic decor gives a nice homey feeling. Lobby bar was unattended for the most part. Access to the hotel is difficult to to complexity of one way streets. Breakfast was ok but not great. |

Excellent position for a quick walk to Palacio Real, Plaza Mayor and others. Car access is somewhat difficult and underground garage is in the next street. (That is what you get with excellent position in any old city..) |
