Die Nähe zum "Palacio de los Deportes", wo ich eine Veranstaltung besucht habe. Minibar nicht gefüllt, Fernseher nicht international und eine teilweis defekte Fernbedienung, Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert. Zimmer war nicht renoviert wie im Internet beschrieben, Frühstück für 11 € war eine Frechheit.Das war kein 4-Sterne Komfort. |

Die sehr kompetente Betreuung bei der Zimmervergabe, die Hilfestellung und Beratung bei der Suche nach einem Restaurant mit baskischer Küche und auch am Abreisetag bei der Erklärung der "Differenz-Rechnung".(s. Punkt 1: Verbesserungsvorschlag!) Leider dämmen die Fenster in den zur Straße O'Donnell liegenden Zimmern den fast durchgängigen Verkehrslärm nicht genügend ab. |

Das preis leistungsverhältnis war total in ordnung. Das frühstück haben wir später nachgebucht und für 11 € pro person auch in ordnung. Man ist auch schnell an der nächsten u- bahn station und somit ist alles in madrid schnell zu erreichen. Sehr groß und von außen nicht sehr schön, aber unser zimmer war schön eingerichtet. |

Das Preis/Leistungverhältnis, die Sauberkeit und die Möglichkeit, am Abend noch etwas im Hotel zu verweilen, z.B. an der Bar oder der Lobby Kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm, daher Fußballspiel Deutschland-Russland nicht zu sehen.Frühstücksbuffet war mit 11,- € für spanische Verhältnisse etwas zu hoch |

Early in the morning the bathroom door jammed shut. The maintenance staff were there within in minutes. At 7.15 am itriwed to order a pot of tea. I was told that room service did not start till 7.30am. That was not good but in addition rather than taking my order to arrive after 7.30, I had to telephone again. |

It is best to ask for a room which is not on the main road and floor 3 or above if you like to have the window open at night. Otherwise it was fine. It is not particularly close to the center but it is in a nice area with lots of shops and some restaurants. We chose this hotel because it was close to where our friends live. |

room large. Lobby Large. Room very dark, windows with view on walls, old and smelly. No internet access in the room, only in the lobby even if they claim the contrary and we pay full price for this. Restaurant and bar depressing, no food service after 10PM (weird for Madrid). People not very pleasant.I booked it because over booking in Madrid due to conference. Never again. |

It is a good prise for a hotel quite close to the center (busstop almost in front of the hotel, the journey to Gran Vía takes few minutes). Shopping and restaurant area is also near. The room was renewed. Breakfast was ok. 30-40 years ago it must have been an almost luxury hotel, but nowdays it looks rather oldish. Other thing: the weather was quite cold during our visit, but no heating was provided. |

Convenient for our visit (concert at nearby Palacio de Desporte). Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent and varied to suit most tastes. Room good, comfortable and pleasant. We will use the hotel (and booking.com) if we go to Madrid again. Thank you. |

location Room very dark and not of a good standard. Staff not very friendly. No tea/coffee making facilities or even a bottle of water provided. No room service late at night and a tiny bar for a hotel with 700 rooms with just one waiter!!!! Waited one hor to try and get a glass of milk!!!! Terrible service. Would not return to this hotel. |
