The location was amazing - right off Plaza del Sol, 2 minutes from the metro, shops, bars, restaurants etc. The room was standard - not luxurious but comfortable and everything worked, including a really good shower. |

Location is good, in the center sol, the womens at the reception desk are eager to help people. The man at the reception desk seems indiference, cold and would not like to help people. |

The gentleman who manned the reception desk during the daytime was exceptional - the most helpful member of hotel staff I have ever encountered. The hotel is very good value for money, centrally located being only minutes walk from 2 metro stations, clean and functional. The hotel is very central so it can be noisy while this did not bother us (we expect that as a trade off for a central location) this may bother some travellers. |

The room was beyond expectations. The walls are thin. Some disturbance from your neighbours. |

Good location and quiet enough (although the walls are thin so if you have a noisy neighbour it would be bad). Windows opened out to a shaft so not a great deal of light. Would recommend it for a city break if you don't plan to stay in the room much. |

I really liked the perfect central location of the hotel, most of the interesting places in and around the city center can be reached on foot. Also the Metro station is right there. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very nice and clean. The room itself was rather dark, due to the window being placed in the corner. |

Centrally located and access to lots of places and things to do. Recommend people to use the Puerto Del Sol route to access the hotel. When accessing from the Gran Via section, there are lots of prostitutes who make our access to the hotel unpleasant. |

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean with basic decor and with a nice bathroom. Good location near to Sol. My room was small and an odd shape with thin walls so I could clearly hear people in the next room, their noisy shower and the lift going up and down. I did not feel this hotel had much more to offer than a good hostal in Madrid but was twice the price. What extras you do get in the room such as mini bar and safe needed money to operate anyway. |

The location is excellent, The stuff was helpful and spoke English. We got a rear room so it was quiet. It is a good basic hotel. Breakfast can be improved. There is WiFi but only in a central area, not in the room. There is a safe in the room but it costs to use it. |

This hotel's location is absolutely superb, just a few yards off the Puerta del Sol. From the hotel, it's just a 10 minute walk in one direction to the Prado and Retiro Park--or a 10 minute walk in the other direction to the Palacio Real. The staff were very helpful, answering any questions we had, even printing out personalized maps for us. We also appreciated that our room, though basic, was perfectly clean. It was a great value for the cost. The only disadvantage of this hotel was the noise. Other guests and staff most certainly were being quiet and polite--but we could hear everything from footsteps to conversation through walls, doors, and ceilings. |

Very friendly staff, excellent location and value for money. The sound-proofing - there isn't any! I could clearly hear everything said in the next room so I wouldn't recommend it for romance! However, if you want to stay centrally and are prepared to take ear-plugs, it's great. |
