Proximity of the Hotel to the Metro Service - very poor. I also have a complaint (separate message to the hotel). Also felt like a 2nd class citizen as hotel is in 2 parts. |

This is a very confortable hotel, close to Sanz de Baranda metro station. 20 minutes from atocha station and from downtown. There was a problem with my reservation when I arrived and they gave me a double bed in a smoking room, although I had specifically requested a twin no smoking room. They changed the room the next day and gave us one free breakfast as reparation. |

Room comfort. Nice bathroom / shower. Quiet surroundings. Staff made no effort for early check in (we arrived at 11.30 and were told no room was ready before 12.00). Although very close to Metro underground, to get to any of the main attractions you need to change at least once. This makes popping back to the hotel just that bit less feasible. |

good location and good city transport connection In the room air conditioning was a knocking noise in the pipesystem. It was very uncomfortable. They could not repair, on this way we had to ask a change of the room after three nights. |

clean room and quiet surrounding. design of the lobby is cool. some staff at reception desk are not very hospital, and their english needs improvement. They seldom offer help for maps, tourism information unless you ask them. just feeling a little bit cold while traveling in a Sunny and cheeful city. please improve, otherwise all nice. |

Hotel was new furnished, nice and clean. Some of the reception staff members didn't know english and didn't have good customer service in a way of giving incorrect information. No tea facility in the room which would be welcome. |

Great bathroom. Nice room, albeit very small. The front desk staff seemed slow and confused at times. There were often three or four people at the desk yet only one seemed able to assist the guests. |

The hotel was very clean and comfortable This hotel was much farther away from Atocha than advertised. I felt that the reception should have given me the internet password upon check-in instead of having to come all the way down to reception again to ask for it. |

It is close to the city by public transportation: bus #20 stops three minutes from the hotel and it takes you directly to the center. The staff is not friendly at all. The stuff is undertrained with no English (or other foreing language knwoledge!). The hotel is understuffed: there are always lines in front of the checking-in or out counter, the receptionist stands many times alone: he/she is frustrated, slow and - no smiles on his/her face....The design of the room we stayed in is incredible: next to one bed there is a high pole - without any function, accept it blocks the easy move-around in the room. |

Great staff, very helpful in resolving a problem and in all other aspects. Construction blocked the front of the hotel, making unloading almost impossible. The workers became physically threatening when we tried to stop, but the staff intervened and handled it immediately. We would stay again, after the street is finished. |

We were unable to get a taxi to the bus station when we were leaving Arand de Duero, so, the hotel director drove us to the bus station in his car. |

The staff were pleasant. Both rooms in which we stayed were a good size, with very nice well appointed bathrooms and extremely comfortable beds. We had excellent views from our windows. Not being able to open any window in the rooms in which we stayed. We often had to wait quite a long time for a lift and the lifts are small. |

Clean and modern. Staff very businesslike. No free city map. Got rooms in a back second building off the given address. Got a room furnished for disabled people and the water from bath flowed in to the entrance area. |

The hotel offered 4-5 different types of pillows, which were described on a card in the room and could be requested (for free) from the front desk. Even before requesting our specialized pillows (we chose the feather/down) the original pillows in the room were much better than the standard Spanish hotel pillows that were in every other hotel we stayed in during our trip (we stayed in a total of 8 hotels ranging from 2-4 stars and they all had the same incredibly unconfortable elongated pillows). The room also had a mini-fridge, which was nice. The room decor, furniture, bedding, bathroom, etc. were all very nice, clean, and comfortable. Staff was very helpful at the front desk and looked up numerous things for us. There was a business center, but it cost 3 Euros for 15 minutes, 5 Euros for 30min and 8 Euros for 1hr to use the computer/internet. We found this price to be outrageous and insulting. I think there was free wi-fi, but we didn't have a computer with us. |

The design of the hotel. Hire more staff at the reception so thatthere will not be the need for 15 min to do a check out while one single employee is dealing with everything including phonecalls, touristical information, bills and other requests. This is another major one: Make your elevators arrive in time not after 5 minutes, despite the fact that they are 4 in number. What is wrong with the el;eveators' system?I ve never seen something working as slow as that one.Anoying, especially if your in a hurry! |
