Confortable, warm and friendly. Excellent central location. Free Internet access. This was my third time staying here, so you can guess I love the place! The fact that there are 'shared bathrooms'. It would be great if each roon has it's own bathrooom/toliet included. |

The hotel staff were friendly, courteous, accommodating and offered information about Madrid which was actually useful. The room itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location of the property is ideal for a city break, or even longer as it is situated in the very heart of Madrid and within walking distance to all the major attrations of the city. |

Location Room was small, smelled of cigarettes and was badly lit. I won't be staying there again. Staff are rather patronising and I really believe there are much better options for the same price. Thoroughly disappointed. |

I know the reviews about this hotel are strange, either very good or poor. Honestly, if you are looking for a 5 star hotel with golden taps in the bathroom, don't go here. But, if you're looking for a nice hotel in the middle o the centre for a really good price, clean rooms, a nice staff and a nice place to meet other people (other guests), this is the place to be! |

The best part of this hostal was the central location. That is about all it had going for it. The staff were unhelpful and the room well overdue for renovation. The towels they provide are disgusting rags and the breakfast is terrible. The staff are disinterested. It was abig deal to even be able to store something in the fidge in the kitchen. The cost of the room was all over the place. we checked back three months after booking early and found a much better deal. The shared bathrooms were run down and we couldn't use the one closest to us as it had a hose you had to hold a lever on to make the water flow. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. This place is a dump. |

The location is fantastic and very central to everything that we wanted to visit in Madrid. Microwaved coffee at breakfast? Really? It would be nice to invest in a coffee warmer. |

I loved the privacy factor of this hostel, you are given your key to every door in the building and you are left to explore the city on your own. No door bells to ring late at night, no early morning knocking on your door to clean your room. Also the free Internet! Downstairs rooms are even more private, though a bit claustrophobic |

The location is very central, we had the keys to the Hotel at all times, the bedroom was acceptable, the balcony was great. The breakfast was very poor, the hotel is expensive for what it had to offer. |

Very central. Right in the centre of Madrid The fact that is is advertised online as a 'Gay Hostel'. There is nothing gay about this hostel, I'm afriad. Not ever a gay guide available at reception. |

The staff and location of the hostal were great. Breakfast was satisfactory, a nice inclusion for the price. Richard was a great host steered us right on where to go, very helpful. Would recommend to certain friends but not all. The bathroom in the room was difficult to use. Not enough room to use the toilet & shower too small for a 6' 190lb man comfortably. Nosie was a problem until we bought earplugs at the pharmacy downstairs. |

In a great location, near the metro, and major sites. The hotel has free wireless, but make sure to indicate if you have your own computer (different code). The hotel was not clearly identified from the outside (it was listed under a different name on the ground level, causing confusion). You have to take an elevator/stairs to the fourth floor, and ask if you're in the right place. Not only was the hotel smoking, the staff smoked in all the common areas. |
