Close to metro, authentic spanish theme. Television entertainment was not very good for an Engish speaking guest. There was no movie selection. |

The location is excellent The attitude of some of the staff could be improved, the stairs to get to the elevators are uncomfortable, there was a change of level in the room which proved dangerous as there was nothing to mark it was there. We were quite disappointed by the room, which had not much relation with the description we found in booking. Towels were a bit tired and rooms were cleaned very late. |

We have stayed in the new building with a patio. This was great, because you can meet with Family or groupmembers even at night. The breakfast has been veryexcellent with a wide range of food. The location of the hotel is very good for shopping, because many streets with fancy shops are near. For people interested in sightseeing there are three Metrostations close by. |

The hotel is very good positioned, good maintained, services are very good, breakfast very good. The hotel is not very appropriate for families with small children since the small elevator is in the first middle floor and you have to carry the buggy to the elevator. We also missed baby chair at the breakfast. |

1. We weren't granted the free junior suite upgrade as indicated on the website whilst booking. 2. The first room we were given - after the suite was refused - was filty due to works in the bath room. |

THe location was excellent. We had close access to the Metro. There was a taxi line outside the hotel as well. This was an elegant hotel for a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Service in the bar could be slow at times. |

I liked the decor and comfort of the hotel, and it felt very private as well. I thought the bar and restaurant could have been better value for money. |

One of, if not the best buffet breakfasts I have ever seen. As with many Spanish hotels speaking only English can be difficult |

The location was perfect for shopping and sight seeing. I also like the breakfast service and the Coffe machines. The entrance was a little old and the set of stairs to reach the elavators was inconvenint for the kids strawlers. The elevator cabins were a little small. |

The staff was attentive and friendly. The doorman was especially helpful and went out of his way to find answers to our questions. I always choose this hotel to stay in before I catch a flight back to the states because it is so conveniently located in relation to the airport, whether I'm dropping off a rental car or taking a taxi. It's in the heart of the barrio de Salamanca, which is quiet and safe, but it's not so far from the attractions I want to take in. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to the Prado. Much better than the airport hotels, which are so far from the center of things. The room had no extra electrical plugs so I had to unplug the lamp on the desk to plug in my computer. Also, there was no plug in the bathroom that I could use for my curling iron (the plug available was for electric shavers only). |

Location I was given the key to a room that was already occupied....and at check out time was presented with charges for telephone and internet service that I did not use, I had to protest these charges however, the person at check- out time seem a lot more competent that the people I encountered when checking-in.... |
