Good quality hotel, nice size of the room, very clean as expected from a 4-star hotel. Free WI-Fi internet worked very well. Breakfast is not included and rather expensive. When arriving at 3 am (not a strange thing in Madrid in the New Year eve period, one would think) the entrance was blocked, so someone from recenption had to be called - not a major inconvenience, but just weird. Design rather traditional and could be updated. |

The service was very good, i like the wifi that was on the hotel, needed that. Just the noise some italians did in the same floor like me but had nothing to do with the hotel but them. |

The place was very easy to find, room was quiet which was imprtant to me. Older curly haired gentleman at the reception was very nice.Nice hotel form the 80-ies I believe.I would recommend this place because location is great, near the center (walking or by tube), above all out of the city noise. On net is written that they have pay tv,when I got there they said that they don't have it any longer. Armchair in the room was dusty and had sb's hair on it. It was also written how wi-fi is free, that is right, but if you do not have your own lap top you will have to pay 6 euros for 30 minutes if you want use their pc. Buffet breakfast is 12 euros, & all I wanted to take was croissant and coffe, the girl said that there was still full to pay.I went in a bar.The reason I chose this hotel was 4 star and location, for the differences in service comparing to a 3 star hotel:like pay tv, free net and more cordial wellcome..which is an optional if you travel in Spain. It was a sort of biz' hotel or good 3 star hotel if you wish. |

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Jesus in particular was incredible. He organized an early check in for us as well as bed preference. He was very eager to help with directions, suggestions for restaurants and booked a show for us too. Thumbs up to your front office staff.Location was ideal as it was right at a metro stop and within easy walking reach of Gran Via Constant sound of running water from either the entrance way above the door into the room or the bathroom. Very hot and muggy in the room, no air moving, even with the windows open. Smell of smoke despite being on a non smoking floor. |

I liked everything -- the very courteous and professional staff, the excellent service, the location (which I chose on purpose since I know Madrid quite well). Liquor prices at the bar were a bit stiff, but food prices, including wine, were reasonable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. However, if I had to single out one factor, it would be the hotel staff, who kept up standards that are hard to find nowadays. I cannot think of anything that I did not like. |

Really like how close to the Metro station, stores, restaurants, bars is located and how easy was to find. Don't think it has a business center or a computer available. At least I didn't see one. |

We got a much bigger room that expected that looked more like a business suite, on the top floor. Very nice! And quiet. The bed was big and comfortable. All of that for €94 incl. brfst. The hotel staff helped us a lot with regard to booking the flamenco night, city bus tour, how to get to El Escorial, what bus to take etc. Breakfast was okay. |

While the hotel is pretty central it is located on a quiet side street. It is right beside a metro station so the whole city is within easy reach. Good breakfast! The gentleman at reception when I was checking out was gruff and unfriendly. |

Thin walls, you can hear every step on the corridor - something you would not expect from an allegedly 4-star hotel. In general, the hotel is nothing special so probably should be a 3-star. |

The hotel was close to the venue I was attending and was reasonably priced and easy to get to. Yes, I was very, very disappointed with your post accommodation assistance. I rang the day after my stay to say that I had left my blackberry charger in my room, I was told they had several charges in a box but did not know which rooms they came from as the labels had fallen off. To cut a long story short I was sent back the wrong charger on the basis that it was the last one they had, I now have to buy a new charger so my accommodation turned out to be more expensive that I had intended. Not very impressed about that at all. |

The staff was very helpfull - lots of advice. The garage is limited and gets completed very fast so that you have to go 5 minutes by car to another parking the hotel has agreement with and walk back for 10-15 minutes. |
