The place was very easy to find, room was quiet which was imprtant to me. Older curly haired gentleman at the reception was very nice.Nice hotel form the 80-ies I believe.I would recommend this place because location is great, near the center (walking or by tube), above all out of the city noise. On net is written that they have pay tv,when I got there they said that they don't have it any longer. Armchair in the room was dusty and had sb's hair on it. It was also written how wi-fi is free, that is right, but if you do not have your own lap top you will have to pay 6 euros for 30 minutes if you want use their pc. Buffet breakfast is 12 euros, & all I wanted to take was croissant and coffe, the girl said that there was still full to pay.I went in a bar.The reason I chose this hotel was 4 star and location, for the differences in service comparing to a 3 star hotel:like pay tv, free net and more cordial wellcome..which is an optional if you travel in Spain. It was a sort of biz' hotel or good 3 star hotel if you wish. |

We got a much bigger room that expected that looked more like a business suite, on the top floor. Very nice! And quiet. The bed was big and comfortable. All of that for €94 incl. brfst. The hotel staff helped us a lot with regard to booking the flamenco night, city bus tour, how to get to El Escorial, what bus to take etc. Breakfast was okay. |

the location, for my purpose. The carpet in the room. The stairs from entrance level to the elevator giving access to the rooms. |

While the hotel is pretty central it is located on a quiet side street. It is right beside a metro station so the whole city is within easy reach. Good breakfast! The gentleman at reception when I was checking out was gruff and unfriendly. |

Thin walls, you can hear every step on the corridor - something you would not expect from an allegedly 4-star hotel. In general, the hotel is nothing special so probably should be a 3-star. |

The hotel was close to the venue I was attending and was reasonably priced and easy to get to. Yes, I was very, very disappointed with your post accommodation assistance. I rang the day after my stay to say that I had left my blackberry charger in my room, I was told they had several charges in a box but did not know which rooms they came from as the labels had fallen off. To cut a long story short I was sent back the wrong charger on the basis that it was the last one they had, I now have to buy a new charger so my accommodation turned out to be more expensive that I had intended. Not very impressed about that at all. |

The staff was very helpfull - lots of advice. The garage is limited and gets completed very fast so that you have to go 5 minutes by car to another parking the hotel has agreement with and walk back for 10-15 minutes. |

It's a good hotel in a good location. Pretty cheap for a 4*. Also the breakfast was a good price for Mardrid, and the kinds of food on offer were good as well. I had a single room which was a bit small, however the bed was a double, the curtains had blackout lining, the windows were sound-proof, and the bathroom was as big as the room, which was nice. In reality, how much room does one person need. Also, I managed to walk to all the main Madrid locations: Gran Via (10 mins), Sol (15 mins), and even La Latina (25 mins) and the Bernabau (30 mins). The air conditioning unit on the roof was a bit loud when it came on, so you cannot leave the window open at night. The room I was on had soundproof glazing, so with the window closed you cannot hear a thing. |

I liked the location. It is close to 3 metro lines and buses, that is, it is very conveniently located close to shops, etc. Some of the staff were on occasion not willing to help and were cold and not approachable. |

Set just behind the glorious Retiro Park, this modern hotel is just a pleasant walk away from some of Madrid’s most impressive sights. |
This sophisticated hotel offers impressive design and an excellent location on Madrid’s main street of Gran Vía. The large outdoor terrace has superb views of the city centre. |
The Maria Elena Palace has a lobby with a beautiful glass roof. It is set just 300 metres from the Puerta del Sol, in the historic centre of Madrid. |
Centrally set on Gran Vía, have a unique stay at the Senator España Spa, with a theatre offering comedy shows within the hotel, as well as free Wi-Fi and minibar. |
