The hostal had obviously renovated recently to a very good standard. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated and the flat sceen tv superb! A lift would be helpful as the hostel is on the second floor - 58 stairs! |

It's ultra clean and modern and has a great location, though our room was small for three people. Got lots of exercise on the stairs! Free Wi-Fi, which was a main reason for choosing this hotel, did not work the whole week. |

Great Location very close to various metro lines, Walking distance to attractions. Friendly staff, Very Clean Recently Refurbished Rooms. Shower very good. Very good Value for money for 50 euros a night. Not that it would stop me staying again but was not well signed from the street, the entrance and stairs (4 flights) were quite dark at night, but we didnt feel unsafe. Receptionist struggled with English but was so friendly and accommodating so not really an issue. |

location of the place is 200 yrs from metro noisey walls very thin , the conseirge didnt understand english, had his tv on loud at night, must be a better way to let people in at night than a buzzer which goeas of all night when people come back. ideal for young people just needing to put head down |

It was poorly marked outside and the 24h reception was doing other stuff at the same time, so they were actually not always present to open the front door. But we were always able to get in at least in five minutes. |

The hotel was very clean and the free wireless internet was great. The staff was nice, but don't speak much English. Excellent location and great value for the money. The walls are very thin. I can hear my neighbor's conversation very clearly. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. The hotel is also up 4 flights of stairs. |

Room was small but comfortable, clean with white towels and linen. Bathroom was nice, newly tiled and good shower. Good location near Gran Via. Helpful staff. On a second floor. Had to press buzzer at street level to gain entrance. This did not cause any problems, just a bit inconvenient. |

There was a duche on the bathroom without the bathtub. The room looks new and was clean. The hotel is on the 2nd floor and there is not a elevator. |

The hostal was situated in a quiet neighboorhood very close to the city centre (Gran Via within 500m). Rooms were new and clean. The bathroom was very comfortable. The staff is friendly. It was no problem to leave our lugage after we had checked out. So we were able to enjoy the last day without having to worry about finding a safe of some sort. We would definitely advise this hostal to everyone who wants to visit Madrid and is searching for a decent but affordable place to stay. Staff speaks only Spanish. So it is best to take a dictionary. |

I would highly recommend it to you. The room is extremely clean. The room is small, but it is compact and comfortable. The location is very good, and within 2 minuets you can reach the Metro and go to Opera and Sol without change just several stop. The wireless is free and there is a big TV in your room. The staff is friendly and they will keep your room clean every day. It is worth the money and perfect for people who want a cheap convenient and clean place to stay during holiday. There is light in my room that I can not turn off. I do not know what is used for. |

Comfortable rooms, spotless bathrooms and a good location. No meal services but plenty of restaurants and shops around. There was no lift but not really a problem at this price. |

If you are looking for a clean, cheap hotel in a prime location you can't beat the Hostal Abami II. I It is probably easier if you speak a little Spanish as the staff, although friendly, don't speak much English. |

The room was really good, confortable, excellent location, not far from Metro, completely new, clean and quiet. The staffs are friendly. Good value for money. The hotel has no lift and it is necessary ring on the ground floor to open the main door of the hotel. |
