I liked its position in Madrid near Gran Via and I also liked the staff's politeness. I did not like the absence of a table in the room and the heating. |

The staff was friendly and helpful. Very basic but overall good value. I felt the room smelled like smoke even though it was non-smoking. |

The moring staff was nice and speaks english. Not much noise, except one day when a drunk guy couldn't open his door. The staff at the afternoon were not very nice, didn't speak english and couldn't care less. I barely fit in my bed (single room) and there were some prostitutes in the street near by the hotel. |

The convenience because it is in city center, and it s easy to move anywhere for the sightseeing. Noise, and also it is not very clear the bed. dont know why have smell. |

Location. Close to metro Gran Via. They say is breakfast included, and as breakfast they gave you peach nectar (super sweet) and cookies. Not good at all... |

cheap and cheerful. room had shower and own toilet. smoking allowed in room. Very noisy plumbing,. Staff not very fiendly or helpful. |

So central to everything, just off Gran Via, if you just want somewhere to put your head down with no nice hospitable hotel staff communication, this is the place to be. The staff were cold, abrasive and just didn't want to bother helping with any queries, when I asked if there was a printer, I was told no, even though there was one right beside the communal computer, and was told sarcastically didn't I know it was a hostal..............They never communicated at all, we had to wait ages until we could get their attention and then one syllable answers |

Just 300m to Via Gran. The entrance to the building is pretty. The FON internet connection did not work at all. The room locker seems crapy... in a single room with WC=shower booth and a toilet 10m from your bed without a door/cover. |

Hostal is in good location for visiting the city, close to most attractions and also shopping. However nothing special, they just know that tourists will come anyways and no need to struggle too much. Probably not worse than other hostels in Madrid. |

The staff was friendly, the location is great, and the rooms weren't bad for the price. It was very noisy. The walls are very thin. |

The location The rooms were small and the staff did not speak english and I tried to speak some spanish but then they were only arrogant. The towels and bedlinen were old and smelled bad but cleaned. The breakfast consisted of only of sweet biscuits in a foiled bag. No hot water. Not acceptable. |

The room was very clean. Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything in surrounding rooms. Although I had a private toilet and shower, the space they were crammed in was very tiny. |

Buona la posizione, anche se la via non sia un gran che' (presenza di prostitute sotto casa), buono il prezzo, e comunque e' un ostello adattissimo a gruppi di giovani che vogliono vedere la citta'. Bene la colazione. Il personale non e' che sia simpaticissimo (anche se una delle 3 ragazze che abbiamo incontrato e' stata molto disponibile per una colazione molto presto), le stanze non sono insonorizzate benissimo (il sabato sera le voci di sotto si sentono abbastanza dalla 102) e la stanza era un po' piccolina. Il tutto viene ridimensionato dal prezzo pagato, davvero esiguo. |

Csak az, hogy a város közepén van. Az egyágyas szoba rendkívül fapados volt. A fürdőszoba és a háló nincs elválasztva, egy picike sötét lyuk volt. A reggelinek nevezett kávé és keksz összeállításért nem szabadna pénzt kérni. |

Pas de bruit provenant de la rue (trafic automobile), la chambre donnant sur le patio Chambres mal insonorisée. Pas de chaînes tv en français. Petit déjeuner frugal |

Estar cerca de la Gran Vía, metros, etc. Las instalaciones. No hay mesa en la habitación, el radiador no funciona. la zona es muy ruidosa. Pero, por el precio que se paga, se justifica. |
