Room was cleaned very well each day, location was ideal. Few women of the night roaming the streets but its not a big deal. Hotel is on a main shopping street so very busy at all hours of the day & night except on Sunday The shower was pretty rubbish, the shower head wouldn't stay up with the pressure of water. Hotel men were strangely indifferent to guests in general, kind of odd-balls |

I think the Hostal Sonsoles is a really good value for money. In the heart of Madrid, you can actually walk everywhere. It is located in a street full of shops, all the brands are there, so it's very convenient. It is a really busy street, but the rooms are very quite since they facing the other side. In the evening it can get a bit dodgy in the area of grand via (just at the end of the hostal street), because there are a lot of “ladies” working… But is still safe. |

It was very clean, it has air conditioning, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff, the woman at the desk was a bit rude. And the reception decoration was terrible!! |

Spotless bathroom. Close to metro stop, near shops, restaurants and only a five minute walk from Plaza Mayor. No English was spoken - although this was not a major issue. |

It is very conveniently situated to the city centre of Madrid and easily accesible to the nearby metro. Clean and airy rooms with helpful staff. Only concern was that as it appears to be right in the centre of the red light district, we felt slightly intimidated when we had to leave early on our second morning to catch a train for our onward trip. |

The hotel is very central within 2 mins by walk your are in the Gran via, shop every where and the hotelis very central. The stay is good although they don't speak english they try to help us. We were going around spain by car and since the hotel doesn't have any parking, the public car park was very expenseive to leave the car there for 2 dayit cost us about €60.00 |

The location is excellent, being very central and in a shopping hub. There are a couple of areas with couches to relax in with newspapers and magazines. |

La situación, por estar en una zona muy centrica. Quizá que se oye mucho el ruido de puertas y de las otras habitaciones.También que la habitación da a patios. |

Centrally located, this elegant, traditional-style hotel provides a great base to visit Madrid's many cultural sights. It lies on Gran Vía, between the main squares of España and Callao. |
This comfortable hostel is situated right in the centre and is well-connected to the public transport system. It is near the shops and the sites. |
This great-value guesthouse is excellently located in the city’s historic heart, just off the main street of Gran Vía and surrounded by some of Madrid’s coolest shops and bars. |
This functional hotel is next to Gran Vía, a short walk from the Puerta del Sol. The Los Condes offers free Wi-Fi and a value-for-money airport shuttle. |
