The staff were very very helpful, the variety for breakfast was very good. The kettle in the bedrooms was handy, No complaints at all, very vey central hotel, we stayed at the hotel for 2 days and walked everywhere. The hotel staff advised us which flamenco show to see and which resturant to go to for our budget. |

The facilities, service, and location make this hotel very ideal for our stay in Madrid. It is our fourth time to stay in this hotel and we are just as satisfied as we were four years ago. The breakfast buffet is one of the reasons why we return. As a bonus, the non-alcoholic beverages in the mini bar are free and replenished everyday and wifi is also available and free. |

Great location, you can walk to many tourist sites and shop til you drop just outside the hotel! Like in most "modern hotels", I don´t like the heating air system, which I could not regulate.. |

We had room with terrace on the top floor, I guess it was smallest one, but terrace with city wiew is valuable bonus %) We are absolutely happy. Wery simpatic cafe at the hotel on the ground floor. Once maids jumped to room while we were sleeping yet, but it is not a problem %) |

Excellent location, very nice, classical old building. Although situated at the main street, there was no noise in the room. Good value for money. |

Great location right in the heart of Madrid. Great views from our room on the top floor. Good choice of food and plenty of room at breakfast. Loved the adjustable bed. It would be nice to have moisturiser provided in the bathroom. |

Easy walk to P de Sol. Bus tour stop by hotel. Bfast was really good and worth the money. Liked having a balcony to walk out on to see the view. Even though room faced G Via, to us it was a lot more quiet than we expected. FREE wifi was nice to have hotel was nicer on an exterior pt of view...my room (superior deluxe) was a little creepy. Room was tight even with sitting area and the couch/chair were really old. Seat cushions didn't have any cushion to it and was like sitting on a soft rock. I also noticed the leather sofas by elevators were also worn down and didn't have much cushion to it either. They definetly need to update the rooms and TV. The included mini bar was a joke..2 small waters/pepsi's and a small Kaliber beer (non alochoholic?). Not exactly a stocked mini bar to say the least but still better than nothing i suppose. |

The front desk was *very* helpful. Great location. Beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel. Metro right out front. Close to food, shopping, Plaza Major, Mercado San Miguel and lots of bars and tapas. Really an excellent option for the price! Ok. There were some streetwalkers on the side street of the hotel. But to be fair, there was also the police station on the same street. Always felt safe but it was pretty overt. Simply ignore. |

The hotel is on Gran Via, center of Madrid. The hotel is in all maters fine but I have two words: One lady in the reception is very unkind and slow. She's name is Laura. She let me waiting in the reception for one hour to make check out. The bellboy was also very bad and unkind. The hotel is very busy hotel but these people are not having enough practice to deal with it, excluding one lady in the reception called Monica she is wonderful kind. |

The location was excellent and shops and cafes are just moments away and the metro is directly in front of the hotel. The room I had was good and well insulated from the busy street outside. I had an excellent stay and the staff were helpful. I have no complaints about my stay. The only issue might have been a faulty tap in the shower but this was fixed without prompting by me and before I realised there was an issue. And the plumber was a very friendly and good natured chap - and he did his work very quickly. |
