The hotel is on Gran Via, center of Madrid. The hotel is in all maters fine but I have two words: One lady in the reception is very unkind and slow. She's name is Laura.She let me waiting in the reception for one hour to make check out. The bellboy was also very bad and unkind. The hotel is very busy hotel but these people are not having enough practice to deal with it, excluding one lady in the reception called Monica she is wonderful kind. |

The location was excellent and shops and cafes are just moments away and the metro is directly in front of the hotel. The room I had was good and well insulated from the busy street outside. I had an excellent stay and the staff were helpful. I have no complaints about my stay. The only issue might have been a faulty tap in the shower but this was fixed without prompting by me and before I realised there was an issue. And the plumber was a very friendly and good natured chap - and he did his work very quickly. |

The staff (who could speak English) were excellent, the location great and the room was definitely value for money. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again if ever in Madrid. |

Lo0cation Location and Location ..it can not get more central thank this at all in Madrid Yes, the fact that mangement insisted on people having breakfast in the hall - ot aLLOWING them to take it back to their room even if they had paid for it. Also, if you take one apple or bread to your room it is 6 eur extra !!! |

Warm welcome from lovely staff. Great location for sightseeing. Room overlooked the Gran Via which was a real treat. A bit of outside noise, but that's to be expected from a city location so did not bother us. For a hotel that says it's non-smoking our room smelt very heavily of smoke. However we couldn't fault the cleanliness otherwise. |

I tried to change the room and the kind receptionist did offer quickly an acceptable alternative. Rooms are very small, try to avoid to get a room which lays inside as the noise of the inside fountain is very loud and you won't get any fresh air from the window. Although I found the room and bathroom were clean I felt that this piece of care for a nice atmosphere was missing, bathtowels were folt carelessly, also one bulb next to the bed was out of order. The clientele was very touristy... so I cannot recommend the hotel for a business trip. |

I liked this hotel because the staff were kind and helpful and the location was very accessible by Metro. I was given a room overlooking the Gran Via. I would definitely come back to this hotel. Breakfast was very basic. |

Hotel look They should be able to accept American Express. I was told that becuase I made my reservation via Booking.com, they could not take it as a form of payment. But in fact, the weekend before I stayed at Hotel Preciados VIP in Madrid as well, and they did accept my AMEX card, even though I booked through booking.com. |

The hotel was located in downtown and walking distance to many of the sites to visit such as the museums. I was shocked that across the hotel, prostitutes were working day and night in front of a fast food restaurant. Apparently it is legal in Spain and I was not aware of that. I will not recommend the hotel to anyone and the next time I visit Madrid, I will stay at another hotel. I stayed there because is was highly recommended on this web site by different people of all ages. |
