Perfect location. Walking distance to most of the city atractions and Metro stations. Very clean, wood floors and minifridge. Area full of good restaurants. Location, location, locatio. Very good value for the money! We enjoy this hotel very much. Highly recomended. Breakfast prices are out of mind. There is a Dunkin Donuts very close where you can have a 5 euros good breakfast. |

The location of the hotel near to the Retiro Park and Reina Sofia museum is fantastic and our room was really comfortable and clean. There are also computers provided for internet access which is useful. The lift was broken for most of our stay and it is a long walk from reception through to the back of the hotel to the lift and stairs. the shower was also very cold on the last morning. |

The location of the hotel is excelent for sight seeing! Rooms are clean, transport to the airport can be organized... It does not really deserve 4 stars (3 would be more appropriate)... |

Fantastic staff, very friendly. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Hotel was in a great location. The place was honestly great but on a down note the shower played up the entire time, freezing cold water one second and scolding hot the next, which was a little annoying. Also the room was extremely hot all of the time, the heating/cooling just seemed to spew out hot air no matter what setting it was on. So the only option was to open the window, which was fine during the day, however the hotel is on a busy street so at night it was very noisy. |

Helpful reception staff, good breakfasts, room clean and bed comfortable, handy location for a range of interests Room overlooking street was noisy - I would ask for an internal room. Little atmosphere in bar and reception areas. |

Well appointed, spotlessly clean, spacious room. Excellent reception staff (especially David Perez). Perfectly located for major museums, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and other attractions. Did not eat in hotel as budget breakfasts available locally. |

I liked how the hotel staff was very proficient in english. Loved the fact how the hotel was the center of all the local attractions. The room was comfortable and by European standards was a 4 star. People seem to forget especially americans the star rating system is different in Europe. |

Tryp Atocha, member of a reliable Spanish chain is ideally located for a visit to Madrid especially for Art lovers. The staff are friendly and attentive. My room was wonderfully quiet for such a central location. Breakfast is excellent, freshly sqeezed orange juice and really good coffee with all foods to match.I will be back. |

Close to Madrid's downtown, prado, national museum, etc. Contrarely to what was indicated in the web site, the hotel is much more than 100 meters from the Atocha train station. This was one of the main reason why we selected this hotel so we were not so pleased with that. |

Our room was for four people but there were only two sets of towels. When we asked for additional towels after we checked in in the evening, we were told that it was "impossible" to get more towels before morning. Also, the water temperature would go from ice cold to scaldingly hot in the sink and shower. |

Very close to city center. No need to buy any touristcard or 10 journey ticket. It takes about an hour to reach to Barajas Airport by metro. Station takes about 5 minutes by walk. There is no wireless internet inside the hotel. You can access to internet inside your room but you need to have an ethernet cable and pay 2 euros per hour. |

Central location between Prado/Reina Sofia and city centre, 10 minutes walk away from Puerta del Sol. Safe neighbourhood, although not the nicest. Friendly staff. My room was on the ground floor and faced the backstreet, which was quite ugly. Plus, I could see & hear people walking by. But then again - I knew I was booking the last available room, so I got what I got. |

One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It is 10 minutes walk from Atocha railway station, which makes it easy to fine, and the subway station is just 30 metres away from the hotel entrance, which makes it very convenient to explore Madrid. The room was nice and clean, it had very good and working (!) air conditioner, so we could adjust temperature as we liked. |
