after a terrible experience in the Asturius "hotel", the Victoria 4 was like moving into a royal palace. We felt like we had emerged back into this century. Great value for money. |

Location is great - you cannot be more central in Madrid - top spot! Very decent hotel - new, clean, modern facilities. It was a bit noisy at night (noise was coming from inside of hotel - people walking and arguing), but I guess that's Spain :) |

Our room included breakfest and it was quite simple but good enough. The smell of strong detergent in the whole hotel, it was a bit like in the hospital. |

Excellent hotel in a great location. All staff very helpful and courteous. If staying in Madrid again i would definitely come here. Sometimes noisy at night, but not too bad. |

Very good location, although Madrid is completely messed up with the renovation of the city, all streets and blocks blocked to pass. The Parking is actually a public parking around 5 blocks from the hotel and as the streets are mostly blocked it takes about 30 min to get from the parking lot to the hotel by car, or 5 min on foot and the price very high for parking. |

Good central location and walking distance to anywhere. Few minutes walk to Puerta del Sol and Metro Station (Sol). Shopping Mall, Restaurants, Tapas Bar are close-by. Victoria 4, is very convenience. Buffet continental breakfast is very standard. The downside is the Bar (Pub) across the road is quite noisy at night. Opening hour from 8:30pm till 5:30am in the morning. My room was at the front on the third floor, yet noises gets louder at 2:00am. ( No consideration for others people sleeping). No kettle to make coffee or tea in the room. |

Excellent location for access to all city centre attractions. Located on a side street so reasonably quiet if you kept the window closed. |

I admire their flexibilty with regards to meeting the needs of a numerous family like mine. Its at the very center of the city. The bathroom for a big family is quite inadequate. |

I liked the proximity to the cultural sights of old Madrid, and also to the art galleries of the Prado and Reina Sofia. |

Location is excellent and the hotel was nice and clean. The rooms are not that big but sufficient. Staff were always helpful. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. Overall very happy with stay. If you want a family room, request an executive room with an extra bed as the standard triple, which they sometimes use, was too cramped. To their credit they changed us straight away. It can be a little noisy if you are on 1st floor over the outdoor restaurant. |

Hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaraunt was very good. Close to the Sol. Yet away from the crowds. It was a good value. Breakfast coffee machine needs to be changed/cleaned. Coffee a little bitter. |

Good central location with lots of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. Breakfast is excellent value if included in room price as ours was. |

It was central to Madrid, great. Rooms good size, thank god for air con, it was 41deg when we arrived. Great location for finding everything. Next time would rather have a room not over the Irish Bar or El Con(?) as they went on until 4 or 5am. Breakfast is confusing and need laying out better as you cant get at it. |

This hotel is in an excellent location for visiting the beautiful city of Madrid. Staff were very friendly and contrary to previous reviews we found the breakfast excellent. |
