Loved the situation, next to a Metro station in a quiet area of Madrid center. The staff were friendly and courteous when welcoming. Room was basic for a 5*, castilian decoration. Very clean. Hotel fcilities look oldfashioned for a 5* hotel. Breakfast was very expensive, 25€, for the limited quality and quantities they offered, better go to any cafeteria nearby, the same food for 1/4 the price. No bathrobe in the bathroom and some rooms look into a dark closed patio. |

The Spa area was fantastic and very relaxing after a day touring around Madrid. The prices within the hotel would suggest that they are not interested in tourists using their restaurant / bar - breakfast €25 each , sandwich at the bar €10, bottle of water in room minibar €3.75, before VAT! This hotel is situated in the Financial District and is more focused towards Business customers. |
