Location, location, location! This was the best this hotel has to offer. Price vs. quality was good. Quiet room despite of the very central location. Seeing a cockroach in the breakfast room was not too nice. The bathroom wall and door made of glass is not practical when you are sharing a room with someone!!!!! You can see directly into the bathroom even though the door is closed. |

Excellent location within walking distance from Palciao Real, Opera, Plaza Mayor and Gran Via , and Metro. Breakfast was good for a 3 star rated hotel. Spacious room which was cleaned up to expected standards. Needs minor redecoration especially in common parts. |

The location is fantastic, right in the city centre. Easy to get to everywhere. Free internet access on the lobby computers was great. The air conditioning. Even on full blast it had little impact. There was a frosted glass door separating the bathroom and bedroom which didn't allow for much privacy. |

The service provided specially at the reception desk. The overall experience at the hotel was pleasant. The floor should be cleaner. The 'glass' doors of the bathroom are impractical |

An excellent central location in Madrid close to the metro and excellent bars and restaurants. It was a very quiet location compared to other hotels we have stayed in Madrid. |

Great location, heard no street noise. Very spacious family room for the price. No problem with the WiFi. Free bicycles. It is too bad one cannot keep the free bicycles out after 9 pm. What's the difference? |

This hotel was in a great location and we enjoyed our one night stay as the room was very quiet for sleeping and the breakfast was lovely. Only one problem: we were told at reception that it would only take 20 minutes to Chamartin Railway station from the hotel by taxi but it took much longer resulting in a missed train and extra expense |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They spoke in slow Spanish so we understood everything ( we are English but live in Spain and do not expect anyone to speak to us in English!) The situation was perfect. Despite being in a room onto the road (pedestrians and delivery vehicles only) with road works on the Puerta del Sol a few metres away, it was very quiet even for a poor sleeper! The television reception was poor. From the list of channels only 4 or 5 were good enough to watch. However only being there for a few days it wasn't so important but may be for a longer stay in cooler weather. |

location was perfect. staff lovely. free use of bikes (great idea). free internet. bit noisy. Even though the room looked lovely, everything seemed to be falling apart. Shower door falling off. Sink in bathroom. One of the two beds wobbly. We did mention to the staff but nothing was done. Also, something very small but annoying, we had a note in our room to say we would get a free bottle of Cava for booking through bookings. |

It was central for touring. I was overcharged for phone calls - 81 euros for 5 short local calls. |

Its location. Must of ot staff was very helpful. It is advertised as a hotel with air conditioned, but one does not have control on it. During my stay in Madrid the days where warm but at night the temperature felt some degrees. However, the rooms conserve the hit of the sun and at nights there were hot. The only option I had was to turn on the hitter. The nights were not comfortable. |

Central Location, near the subway. The street noise (near plaza del sol) the shows, loud drunk people, you hear the noise from other rooms. There is no AC or ventilation, the internet is not reliable and the staff are not very helpful with customer requests. |
