Location was great for the metro and walking to the sights was really easy, if you are happy for a decent walk. Single room was spacious (as far as single rooms go), clean and secure. Breakfast was quite good too. |

A hidden gem, restaurant Puerta de Toledo served us the best dinner on our two week travel in Spain. Oso buco, sea bass, along with a complimentary pate and after dinner liquor well worth the travel from any hotel in Madrid. The hotel offers basic clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfast buffet, cafes and atm's within walking distance. Good budget traveler hotel. Outdated rooms & hotel. |

central location and friendly staff - could do with decor being updated but fine for just sleeping. Location is very central - close to main sights. No escalator at metro but not too many steps to carry luggage up. Breakfast was not great - no hot food. Rooms are clean enough - friendly and helpful staff decor and breakfast need to be improved upon |

Excellent reception, very friendly and helpful. I had to check out very early the next morning, and the receptionist suggested a whole lot of points that I had not even thought about, which made my departure very easy and put my mind at rest about checking out, reaching the airport early in the morning etc. They even had a packed breakfast ready for me to take along, because I left earlier than breakfast started (breakfast was included in my room rate). Staff was available to help me on checking out so early, and all my queries about my further travel out of Madrid/from the airport were answered satisfactorily and with a number of good suggestions. Although the hotel appears old, it was very clean and comfortable. |

Close to a central metro stop, though not right in the center of the historic part of the city. A nice breakfast buffet. I got a great rate. Comfortable enough. It seems a little dreary and worn. Still, not bad. |

The included breakfast was very good for the price. You could really fill up on good food so you didn't have to spend a million Euros to eat during the day. Rooms were a bit small. |

Good day!! I've spent only 2 nights in your hotel but describing it I can use only the best words. The stuff was polite and helpful, the comfort and cleanliness of my room was on great level. It is close to the city center, but not in noisy part of the city. As I speak spanish I didn't have any problem in communication, but I think it would be the same even if I spoke in english. It is really good example of one international hotel for all type of guests. That is how should look like good hotel anywhere in the world! Thank you for everything!! If I come again to Madrid I'll choose Puerta de Toledo again!!!! No! I was totally satisfied with your service! |

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very centric. I hated the breakfast. It seemed that there were a lot of things to eat but most of the food was old. The croissants were very hard, the ham and the cheese smelled terrible. Even cheaper hotels have a better breakfast. |
