Good, central location and ideal for shops and bars. Modern and clean with excellent sound insulation from the busy Gran Via so no sleepless nights. |

Absolutely perfect location, right in the heart of the things. Polite and friendly staff. We had a quiet room, excellent equipment. There were some minor damages on the wall, but nothing really significant. |

The location of the hotel was great. There was little that I liked about the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel I was told there was a problem with my room and that I would have to stay at another hotel for the first night - I got no apology. |

The central position to every place in the city. Walking through the side streets in a matter of minutes you are in the place you desire to be.I likled the view from room 522 of the Gran Via by day and night, wonderful view.Do you have hotels in Sevilla, Granada or Malaga? Thsnk you I am an easy going person. I have been travelling since 1959. It depends on wjhat one pays. A frigo bar would do in the rooms especially the very hot days.We were satisfied by what the hotel offered all around. In para 2 please include a Very Good Column, as giving a good comment might be too low or an Exzcellent might be too high.. |

The staff was friendly and patient with our minimal spanish. They did speak english. It is very close to the Gran Via metro stop. Our room was right on the corner but the windows were great, not too much noise. Might be a problem if the windows need to be open. |

Great location in the centre of Madrid, good value and at the top end of the 3 star category I would guess. |

The hotel is right in the heart of the city, rooms are big with a sitting area, very clean, good value for money. Rooms are modern and new but the reseption area needs remodelling. A little noisy since it is located on a main street. |

The hotel's location in the center of Madrid, close to shopping and metro. Given the nightlife in the area, I felt safe when out and about late in the evening. Hotel staff was very professional. I have stayed at the Regente several times over the last 8 years. Have stayed at other hotels only when the Regente didn't have rooms available for my entire stay in Madrid. Would like for the hotel to allow guests to use the computers in the cafe free of charge to check email. |

Convenient, walking distance to all major attractions in Madrid; friendly, personable staff. The sign for the hotel is illuminated on the main drag, Gran Via, but the actual side-street location is discrete. Our room was clean, quiet, and had a lovely little balcony. |

Very central location, just on Gran Via Street. Close to Puerto del Sol, Plaza Mayor. 100 m from metro station, about 45 mins to Barajas Airport Terminal 4 with 3 trains. The room doors are very old and thin, strongly recommend to change them as soon as possible, as you hear everything in the aisles when your neighbours speak, even whisper. |

Very central for getting to know Madrid for the first time. Convenient to Metro(easy to get to airport). Near shops, cafes and restaurants. Great to be able to leave bags after checking out while waiting for flight. Had difficulty getting to sleep with noise from air conditioning, but after a while learned to control it. |

Good price, clean rooms, good facilities. Cleaners were noisy and noise did carry in the hotel. This might be a problem if you are a light sleeper. Also the hotel bar could have done with opening past 11pm. |

centrally located, 1 block from metro station, OK breakfast I came with my colleagues, but my room was the smallest and the most outdated. 2,5x2.5 m room + 2x1.5 m bathroom. very squeaky floor & sounds from room above mine very audible (I could hear people walking, taking shower etc.). very dusty curtains that would not close, which was not nice since there are different hotel's windows in just 3 meters from your window. Furniture is old and untidy too. |
