The staff are relatively polite and helpful. The room is nice and clean. I do not like the bed linens which makes me uncomfortable. I would much prefer a quilt, not a bed sheet. The price is also quite expensive. |

The breakfast was lovely and the staff were extremely obliging. Was particularly impressed with the restaurant manager - he was extremely professional. The fact the 'free' toiletries were more male-orientated than female ie a razor etc. That's what made me think it was more 'business orientated.' |

The location is really convenient; the nearest metro station is just 5 minutes walk away. Also, the room is so clean. |

Rooms very nice as also common areas and good breakfast. Poor service at front desk. Only one clerk on duty at checkout, about 11:00 am and of course was overwhelmed by clients checking out and checking in. Took me about 45 minutes to check out, and later when I returned for my bags, about 30 minutes to retrieve them from store room. This is not good enough. |

The hotel is located very well, next to the Gran Via and all its shops. The neighbourhood was not perfect, going down the street of the hotel you end up in the red light district. However, it did not cause any problems or any feeling of insecurity. |

located in the city center behind the hotel is where local 'ladies' work their night shifts so if you happen to have a room window facing this side... |

For those vwho want to visit Madrid, the hotel's location is excellent as one can go everywhere by walking. I would say is near everything you may need... then is a good value for money - to cut in short: Excellent! |

Business and City visits They didnt want to respect our reservation and wanted to send us to another hotel, after a big argue they gave us the room. The hotel is OK but after flying 12 hours it is not pleasant to have to argue to get a room you already payed for. |

Great hotel we got a great deal and i am really glad we stayed here. The staff is awesome they spoke very very very good english. They went out of their way to bring the phone to us so we can talk to our children free of charge. I love the fact that your in the middle of everything here in Madrid. It is also very safe here. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. |

Booked a room with GranVia view (214) which was really cool including a balcony. No much traffic noise in the night as there are two glass doors between balcony and room. Ok for a business trip or shopping tour as it is located direct within the city center. If breakfast is booked in advance it's 8.- Euro, if not it's much more. Not really a big breakfast buffet but enough to start the day so it's not really a minus (if the 8.- Euro option is selected). |

Central Location What was advertised and booked as a four star hotel is clearly at best a 3 star with basic facilties. It has no restauraunt facilties on an evening and no tea/coffee making facilties in the rooms so you have to go out for a drink. I paid for a triple adult room but my 16yrs old son got a put up bed in our duble room which he could not sleep very well on and which cramped up the room, Also as the only entrance is at the side of the hotel you cannot help but notice the red light district operating at the side and rear of the hotel. |
