The room was big and spacious - we think it may have been one of the types of suites. The windows spanned around the room and let in lots of light. We were greeted by a friendly staff member at reception and also given vouchers for complimentary mojitos in the hotel bar. For the size of the room, which seemed to be larger than a normal room, our room was classified as a double, however the bed was made of two twins (not just two beds together, but actually made with separate linen to form two twins pushed together). |

The hotel is in a great location for seeing Madrid by walking. The staff is friendly. Although it can be noisy outside you are not bothered once in the hotel. |

A design historical building ideally placed at the centre of Madrid. The hotel has been recently refurbished... unfortunately, with poor material, everything stands poorly in place. The lighting system: if one goes to the toilet and turns the light on, the room goes gloom... or the contrary... if one turns on the headbed reading light, the same... we have been told that, to have independent lighting - autonomous lighting for each room, or different lightings as the headbead one - one should pay for it... I had never seen such a clumsily lighting device in all my travelling life!!! |

The convienance to transport, tourist attractions and dining. It is also easy to find from the airport if you get accurate metro information. I do recommend the open top bus (2 days jump on & off €21) and it can be caught across the street along with normal buses. |

Excellent location that is close to everything - metro, parks, shopping, etc. Art deco styled. Located right on Grand Via which is one of the main downtown streets. Rooftop patio for suntanning or view of the city. Some minor problems with door handle on bathroom, otherwise none. |

Location was fantastic. Views from Level 9 were good too. Staff were friendly and the decor was beautiful. Was recommended to a paella restaurant with map, however the restaurant did not exist at the specified location - even friendly locals could not understand why it was not where is was shown on the map. |

Hotel was in an excellent location on the main street for shopping and for theatre/ Cinema and broadway shows. The room we stayed in was very clean, comfortable and nice modern decor, however a little small which we didn't mind. The bar is very modern with no atmosphere in it but has a lovely view of Gran Via. We ate in the hotel once and would not reccommend it as the food was tasteless. Staff were very helpful and pleasant at all times. The open top tour bus was just across the street from the hotel. There are restaurants along the street beside the hotel. Everything is within walking distance. I would reccommend going to see the Palace which you can visit while doing the open top tour bus. I would definately stay in this hotel again. |

I rang hotel 2 days before we arrive, and ask for quiet room away from lifts, and also asked for one king size bed...not two put together. there was no problem what so ever. Staff was very friendly and polite. Helpful also. Hotel is locatet in the middle of city center....eazy to go everywhere. Access to Metro, tour bus, chopping area, close to train station and so on. Hotel has also nice look inside. |
