Excellent location, very nice breakfast, Some of the furniture in the room were broken, staff-members just locked themselves in to "check" on the minibar early in the morning while we still were in bed. The whole squere outside the hotel were full of constructionwork, which created a lot of noise. Not a word about this issue on the homepage |

Everything.... the staff, the room, the location. We loved the helpful, polite and competent staff and staying there made our trip to Madrid fantastic! Can't wait to return. |

Our room was very good - comfortable, clean and not smelly - great bonus after all the smelly Spanish bathrooms !! :( The staff and service were excellent. One of the nicest hotels we've stayed at. Do not eat or drink at this hotel - the food is good but way too expensive. The prices in the bar where we went for one round of drinks for four, came to over 70 Euro. Ridiculous. |

The Location. 1. 20 minutes line to have check-in 2. Had to ask twice to have a another towel (waiting time 30 minutes) 3. By 8:30 in the Sunday moorning the maiden entered my room an she said was my fault sine I did not put "no disturb". Service too poor to be a five star. |

Fantastic location. Beautiful, spotless room and bathroom, with exceptionally comfortable bed and immaculate linen. GREAT buffet breakfast included, a fabulous value for the money! The concierge staff was especially helpful, directing us to excellent restaurants. All the staff was courteous and eager to assist when necessary. Internet was not free, but we were allowed 1/2 hour in business center.. Endless construction outside the entrance and all over the city |

Great location. Big historical hotel with great service and atmosphere. We got very good assistance from the hotel with some sightseeing/restaurant/flamenco show arrangements. The breakfast was good. |

superb location, you can just walk to most places of interest in just short minutes. It has one of the best breakfast buffetts we have ever experienced. Hotel is very romantic, rooms are spacious, you feel that you are walking into a "real palace", the staff is fully bilingual and they will go the extra mile for you, great people! We are planning on returning to Spain and to the Westin Palace Hotel next year. just ask for a room away from the front avenue |

Central location. General ambience of Hotel both internally and externally. 1. Whilst dining at the Hotel's gourmet restaurant, although food was excellent and service was good, we thought that it was highly unbecoming to serve butter in pre-packed containers as one would normally get at fast-food outlets. 2. Mattresses were too soft and uncomfortable for our liking. Everything else was most certainly ok. |

It’s a luxury hotel in a very good position for museums ( the three famous museums are literally round the corner). The entrance, hall and the stained glass dome are spectacular and the hotel’s visual signature A very good international breakfast is served under the glass dome. There are beautiful botanical arrangements in the communal parts of the hotel. Good size room, nicely furnished. It’s a 5 stars+L hotel but: basic toiletries which haven’t been replaced when finished, no slippers, no shoes polish set. Very expensive mini bar and outrageously expensive room services |
